Nice hostel in Getsemaní área, arrived after 11 pm and was pleasantly surprised, that reception was opened and I was able to do check in. Breakfast is included, had fruit bowl and toasts with butter/jam, if you want to add eggs you have to pay 10000 COP for it. Coffee/tea is self served and you can order juice for extra payment. Sleeping area is big, air conditioning is working over night, you have to bring your own lock. There is a space to put luggage under the bed, what was a bit dusty and dirty and a small shelf near the bed. Hostel offers some activities, but I wasn't able to check them out. Overall good experience

BEST HOSTEL EVER! I highly recommend doing the day trip to their Tierra Bomba location as well it is beautiful. They had a free salsa class while I was staying there and the teacher is super fun. They also had a pub crawl where we met people from other hostels. This is right in Getsemani and is a 10 minute walk away from San Felipe castle. Great location, great price, and great people. Also they have a cat named Orion! As for the rooms, each bed was like a compartment and had a shade for privacy. There were private bathrooms in the rooms as well as shared ones. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Our breakfast was included--it was fruit and toast which filled me up. There are also paid options but the included breakfast was enough for me personally. They do have wifi and it's fast. There is also a social area and coworking space. Honestly, I wish I spent more time in this city and at this hostel. The staff members are so nice and will go out of their way to make sure you have a comfortable stay. They'll even recommend activities and restaurants. This hostel is great for both introverts and extroverts. There are people willing to socialize there or if you would rather have privacy, that is possible there. THANK YOU SANTUARIO!!!

I've been @ Santuario much longer than planned due to some health issue. So, I had the time to highly appreciate not only the hostel itself, the great vibe and atmosphere, the fantastic beds setup where you have plenty of space (!) plus an unusual total privacy, like you have a mini room inside a room, but especially the people: staff is great and really cares the guest, while sick I had a family like surveillance, especially Stefy "la chica del bar", Kathy (cleaning & kitchen) and Jose (maintenance) never missed supporting me and asking genuinely interested how I was feeling. In a difficult moment, I was in the right place, thanks them! One only thing disturbing me was, the aircon management: ok it was on only evening and night, quite usual, problem was a person feeling cold was enough to shut down the aircon for everyone... and it was hot then... i love freezing, ok, but a correct balance would be the best, suggesting who's cold to wear a t-shirt should work, and others won't sweat ;-)

Santuario is a very nice and clean hostel located close to San Felipe castle and Getsemani. Friendly staffing, free breakfast… we had salsa dance classes! My friend Lupita and I had a good time in this place I hope you can give a chance and come! Thank you so much!!!

Comfy bed areas, great breakfast, very friendly cleaning staff and security guard. The only issue was spraying for bugs. Toxic chemicals right where everyone's eating/sleeping. Seems like that should've been done during a week-long closure to give the chemicals time to dissipate.
