Beautiful place to stay but eating there is very very expensive plus there is a daily $45 resort fee you get when you check out.

I am a frequent and loyal Marriott customer. I am a platinum elite bonvoy member. This hotel/resort was extremely disappointing. My wife and 8 year old stayed at the property for 3 nights in Feb. We were there for fun but I also needed to work while there. First the positives. Location is great. Right on a beautiful beach. Close to airport, easy to get in and out. You can hear the planes taking off and landing but as long as your room isn’t directly pointed at the airport we didn’t find that a problem, our one bedroom beachfront suite was the perfect layout for our small family, but that’s the positives. The following are the negatives 1. No working WiFi. It didn’t work. Period. Staff knew, they were unapologetic and offered no resolution. This was a disaster for me as I had planned to work while my family played. We were told it worked in the lobby and business center, it did not. The attitude and communication of the staff= not helpful, indifferent and sometimes outright rude. Cleanliness- it’s an older building but it’s not being well maintained and in our case it was pretty disgusting. Our room had a sewer smell. Sewer gases were backing into the room. We called for help. They sent someone with a deodorizer spray. That just added a new smell to the sewer smell. Our room was not serviced/cleaned for two and a half days. Suite with kitchen was not stocked with basics. If I had more space I would write more. Not recommended

Beautiful hotel. Very clean and well maintained. The hotel is right on a beautiful, clean beach. The sea can be rough at times but the pool compensates for it. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The noise of planes can bother you until you get used to it. All in all it's a great bargain. Would definitely stay again.

Please pay your employees for what they are value. I noticed two employees Johansson and angel David two bartenders. They were the only two employees working up to 4 job duties at the time. I saw them bartend, be waiters, busboys. Dishwasher and on top of it all doing management jobs. Very impressive but if not compensated properly they will quit.

No busboys, server’s had to wait tables and bus. When you got 60 to 100 people eating not having busboys it too away from the service. Waiting 15 to 20 minutes to get a refill on coffee is horrible for a nice resort. Breakfast was the worst with waiters having to bus 30 to 40 people using the breakfast bar really took away from the guests who were ordering, had to get up 2 times and refill my own coffee from breakfast bar, just not good. Note, the waiters were great. Very friendly and helpful, just had their hands tied by not having busboys. Plus for being on an island, the dinner menu could have been better. Only ate there 3 times, took a cab and went to local restaurants.

Airport runway 500 feet from hotel with planes taking off every 5 minutes. Loud wedding with music blasting into midnight hour. Staff was friendly. Property needs upgrading but probably not worth it due to location. Would never book here again.

A few bugs in the room. We were told 21$ each complimentary breakfast & It was not the case. Otherwise the staff was fabulous

As others have stated before me this property is loud. I was pleasantly surprised that the air plane noise didn’t bother me that much it was more a problem that our room was right above where the “club” is. While this was a little annoying the music usually shut down before 11. This hotel is perfect as it’s right on the beach. It’s hard to come by this kind of access in other places on the island. But it’s definitely a little shabby and in some cases not as clean as I usually prefer especially for the price. Regardless I would and probably will stay here again if only for the great beach access.
