Very nice place. They had free coffee in the morning in the checkin area. Nice pool for amenities. Great location close to everything you need in Carlsbad.

Perfect spot for what we needed. Doing a job in the area and needed a place to go instead of driving all the way home and back. Great location and clean hotel. Price was unbeatable.

We arrived to our room that barely fit two double beds. NO microwave, NO refrigerator, No air conditioning or heat. Then they attempted to "rent" us a microwave at $5 a night! I called Motel 6 and filed a complaint with customer service. They explained that this was way below Motel 6 standards but nothing was done about it at all! Never stay there again!

For one night the room was ok. Very noisy all night regarding the highway very close to the property. Simple room but needs some more clean up.

The front desk staff were really friendly and welcoming. Everything else was fine and what you would expect for the price. If you're on a budget but still want to be close to the beach or Legoland, this is perfect.

When we checked in at 5:30 ish, we were given a room on the 2nd floor. We get inside and it’s 80 degrees and smells of cat pee in the room, we have just been driving for 12 hours, and just needed a place to sleep, so if it would cool down we could deal. so we turn on the ac and head out to dinner. We get back to the room about 8:45, now it’s 90 in the room, I go down to talk to the guest agent and he says that none of the air conditioning works. This thing was blowing HOT air. He switched us rooms, still no AC and his recommendation was to prop the door open to sleep..

Not expect a lot. But the room condition(smell, cleanness) was not good. Especially the bathroom **;; Broken shower curtain rod ends, loosened curtain made a leaking water to outside.. Not expect a lot but things could be BETTER I believe :(

There was a lot of cigarette and pot smoke that got in our room. The grounds were very loud through the night.
