Cape Riviera Guesthouse

This monumental house with colonial style rooms offers an excellent rest and escape from bustling CapeTown. Very close to table mountain trails and a short uber ride from city centre and coast! I will stay here again when coming back and will recommend it to all my friends

I enjoyed my stay. The host and the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was spacious with a clean bed. The view from the communal lounge and terrace was amazing. Perfect and safe neighbourhood and close to Table Mountain.

We stayed one night at the Cape Riviera and I wish it had been more! Every detail of the Inn was stunning and the staff and owner could not have been more accommodating. Our room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and we felt well-cared for after our 14 hour flight. I'm still salivating when I think of the breakfast the next morning. There is a lovely terrace with a sweeping view. I highly recommend it!

It was a last-minute reservation, we were staying at another place nearby and needed a break from the heatwave. This was a little gem of a place, and I am only sorry that we had such limited time there. A very charming place with great service. And the beds were so comfortable!

There are hotels and guesthouses that do that extra step for you. Some of them are willing to do the extra mile. Well, the management of Cape Riviera runs the marathon for you even without asking. I use a medical device for sleeping and this gives problems during loadshedding periods. Even without asking called Owen (the owner) his electrical installation contractor to change his battery system so that my medical device kept on working during the night. Where do you find this kind of service these days? Further, everything else is more than okay. Room 1 is specious with good bedding and ditto bathroom. Breakfast and honesty bar both good. It was in short a very good decision to return to Cape Riviera guest house after our first visit in 2015.

We enjoyed our stay at your guest house - nice place, beautiful view of the City and the Table Mountain, good breakfast and friendly stuff! Not too far from City centre, restaurants are in walking distance.

A wonderful Сape Riviera with an even more wonderful host Owen! You saved us when a nearby hotel closed without warning, despite a pre-confirmed reservation. Villa Riviera is really beautiful old house, with huge rooms, a swimming pool and delicious breakfasts. Located in a good and quiet area, and behind a high fence you feel absolutely safe. I would love to come here again.

The house is perfectly located in a nice area. The bedrooms are lovely and clean and everybody is really helpful and nice. Definitely an address to be recommended. You can start the Table Mountain hike from the house or walk to the town centre. We had a great stay.
