Very nice and quiet place. It is a small hotel with 12 rooms and a ice swimming pool garden with great sun beds. The staff is extremely friendly and service minded. The breakfast consist of a small buffet and orders from the menu card. It is absolutely top quality. Location is quite good. 3 km. To the waterfront

the beds are nice and the rooms were very clean, the space by the pool is very open to accommodate a group of friends i really enjoyed my stay and would recommend for anyone looking for a weekend getaway with friends and family

We spent 5 nights at Blackheath to explore Capetown and I am so glad that we did. The accommodation is perfectly placed to explore the city and the lodge itself is just beautiful. We booked the loft room which had a lovely balcony and views of the city. The staff are exceptional and really make you feel welcomed from the minute you walk in the door until the minute you leave. They went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, from delivering early morning coffee to our room to ironing some items of clothing we needed for the evening. We left Blackheath after 5 nights to travel along the garden route but we came back later in the week for one night to meet up with some friends. We had booked a standard room for this night, but to our surprise we were upgraded to a beautiful suite on our return and they had kept all our luggage safe for us. This was a stay that we will never forget! Thank you so much to all the staff at Blackheath, for the amazing memories you helped us create during our stay in South Africa. Karen and Mimi especially! We will hopefully see you again in the near future.

A beautiful hotel situated on a quiet street in Sea Point. Lovely room with china teacups, small private deck, comfortable bed and soft linens. Helpful, pleasant staff arranged a Table Mountain tour and dinner reservations at wonderful restaurants in different parts of the city, as well as seeing to our day to day comfort. Delicious breakfast buffet with made to order hot breakfast as an option. The pool area is lovely and tranquil.

Had a great stay here - staff all very friendly and accommodating - they even let us keep our luggage with them while we flew across the country for a couple of days. It was our first hotel on our trip to South Africa so was nice to instantly feel so safe and welcome. Very clean too. Definitely recommend.

Superb. My second stay here. It’s since under new ownership but it remains top notch. Staff are GORGEOUS. Beds are incredibly comfortable. Breakfast is lovely and the design details around the hotel are creative. It’s safe and quiet at night and perfectly clean. I cannot wait to return !

We spent 5 days at Blackheath while exploring Cape Town for the first time and it was a great choice. The breakfasts were great, the accommodations very comfortable and the service impeccable. Both Godfrey and Corinne were not just attentive but were really invested in making sure we had the best possible time. You can't go wrong at Blackheat!
