"My wife and stayed several nights at hotel l,abbye in calvi. The hotel is well appointed and the staff excellent. The hotel is situated on a steep hill and the noise from cars and the multitude of motor bikes is incessant. If you open the doors or windows for fresh air you will need earplugs. The noisy motor bikes completely spoil the ambience of a nice hotel. If we returned to Calvi we would definitely choose a quiet area away from the main roads."

"Very well located and a great hostess! The studio was satisfactory. However, there were four garden chairs in the small studio, which took up a large portion of the space, requiring the bed to be lowered. Access to the terrace is blocked because the window is obstructed by the furniture. The cleaning could also be improved, but it's fine for a few nights."

"We absolutely loved this hotel. It was without doubt the best of the four we stayed in on our tour around Corsica. It’s ideally positioned in a quiet residential neighbourhood, but still just a five minute walk from the port of Calvi and all its attractions and restaurants. The hotel itself is beautifully furnished with incredible attention to detail and spotlessly clean, whether that be in the public areas or the bedrooms. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was enormous with a lovely balcony overlooking the cosy pool area - the pool itself is also beautiful, with a lovely stone surround and little fountains. The bed in our room was one of the most comfortable I’ve enjoyed in a hotel anywhere and all the fixtures and fittings were evidently of a high standard. The bathroom was immaculate with an amazing waterfall shower. Breakfast was served in the bar area, but with an option to sit out on one of the two outdoor terrace areas. It was a buffet with a great array of sweet and savoury options to choose from and was kept well stocked by the staff. All delicious. All in all, I cannot recommend this hotel more highly."

"We only stayed one night and wished we had more. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite with two lovely balcony areas to enjoy some sun! The bed was very very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent (food and service) and just generally it was such a tranquil spot."
