Our first time in Calvi, we stayed in this absolutely beautiful, well kept, clean, and spacious Villas. Vanina in the reception & the other staff made us feel very welcome For sure we will come back to this beautiful piece of heaven on earth.

Francois, A ‘professional, high standard organization’ would not respond to customer feedback the way you have chosen to. I am disgusted that make up lies about a family to try and justify your behaviour. You are clearly not fit to be running an establishment. As to the spa, it was a ghost town. I would focus more on trying to bring customers in than spending time on tripadvisor.

I stayed at this location with my family in August 2023, and I must express my dissatisfaction with the experience. My father wrote a review after our visit, and I am deeply troubled by the response from Francois, who made inaccurate and disparaging remarks about our family. Francois's behavior towards us was unprofessional and unwelcoming. Whenever we approached the reception for advice, such as restaurant recommendations or directions, Francois's responses were consistently blunt and rude. It felt as though there was a personal bias against us. We paid thousands to stay here for our summer holiday. It is shocking that Francois mentions communication prior to our stay given that my father struggled to get ahold of reception and the sheer volume of emails mostly related to him following up after a few days of no response. Contrary to her claims about noise, we only played music from an iPhone on the first day, and it was at a very low volume. Despite this, the reception, located directly across from our villa, asked us to turn it down. We complied and did not play any music afterward. Our stay was marred by discomfort and poor service. Francois also charged my father for alleged damage to a bike, which is highly questionable given that my father, at 54 years old, would not misuse the bike. We primarily used the bikes to travel to town since the villa was quite remote. Although we requested a taxi service, it was not arranged. Instead, the staff kindly took us to town but Francois insisted we pay 20 euros for each trip, which lasted only five minutes. Overall, the service was unsatisfactory, and we felt unfairly treated throughout our stay.

The Domaine Villas Mandarine is a wonderful place to stay. The facilities in and out of the villa were first rate and of a very high quality. The pool was beautiful as is the location, surrounded by hills. Nothing was too much trouble for the team at Villas Mandarine. Lovely rooms with a great shower, hot water readily available and big comfy beds....perfect. Pool cleaned everyday, bbq cleaned everyday if you have used it, villa cleaned everyday....what more do you need. Lovely welcome pack of cold drinks, Corsican biscuits and a jar of homemade fig jam. Everything you need was there including the things required by a little one including pool and beach toys, high chair, cot, plastic cups, bowls etc. The spa on site was exceptional with lovely facilities Ideally situated only 5 minutes for Calvi Airport so no long transfers, very handy. Only 3 minutes to the beach and 5 minutes in to Calvi. The marina at Calvi is lovely with many restaurants and bars. Cannot recommend this place enough but make sure you don't all book up and prevent us from booking again!!

I would have rated 4 star overall but unfortunately we found that the onsite Boss who runs the resort was very hostile. This was a shame as in general the reception staff are helpful but the boss is controlling everything and gives off a hostile vibe which over shadows the complete team. The villa and the complex was nice and the cleaners really good. The villa does need some modernisation and they should have smart TV in every bedroom (its a must in todays world). We did have an issue with a dripping sink, a bath that did not work and a noisy toilet. The maintenance man came and fixed the sink but did not ever come back for the other two issues. They are very quick to take your money for extras like heating the pool, breakfast, online shopping but did not fix the villa issues. The business model from the boss felt totally geared to money and not balanced to providing high end customer service. Many of the the other 5 star hotels have a dedicated a mini-bus which runs as a Taxi, as they have the name on the side. You need this sevice to complete in the 5 star environment as not everyone wants to hire a car especially with bigger families. The electric bikes could be a positive offering but the maintenance on them is poor and if you have a problem with the bike-you will be billed-that's in the paperwork you sign. Every-time i went to take take a bike, it was dirty from the previous person that had used it, the tyres were flat and chains and gears had not seen any oil for months. The maintenance team need to make sure every-time a bike is returned, that it is cleaned, road worthy checked and tyre pressure done for the next user. if you do take a bike--make sure you have the maintenance people do this. I had a problem with my bike and the boss claimed mis-use- i am 54 so was a joke, but she would not listen and was very rude. I could see the staff at reception was embarrassed by the Boss's behaviour. Overall we had a nice stay but they need a management change and a shift from away from being completely obsessed with profit to customer care. I hope this feedback is helpful as this complex has great potential and the Calvi area is lovely.

Un cocon d’excellence. Sans esbroufe… le vrai luxe. Tout est parfait. Anecdote. Nous avions une mouette juchée à proximité, presque à toute heure du jour, sur un haut poteau qui veillait principalement à ne pas se le faire piquer… On peut comprendre ! Nous l’avons nommée ….. Clémentine… ☺️… ….
