The hotel is fine but the area around there attracts a ton of sketchy people.
I will revisit the hotel in a few months. maybe I caught it at a bad time.

Great location, 2 great restaurants on site but our room was dirty and in need of some maintenance. Hallway carpet was also quite dirty.

Average hotel. Tub and shower old with broken away caulking. Corners in the bathroom not clean. Walls scuffed and dirty. Carpet worn and needed a desperate shampoo. Bedding clean and bed comfortable. Three stars at best.

front desk staff were awesome. super friendly & nice to chat with. the room was clean, just kind of worn down/outdated: bottom of the tub was chipped & cracking, backsplash countertop in the bathroom coming apart, coffee table scratched up, etc. the place is a little overpriced for being so underwhelming but the location is good. easy to get around & more than enough parking which is nice.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sandman. The beds were clean and comfortable. The room had everything we needed and looked nice and modern. The pool and hot tub were open late and we took advantage for an after dinner dip. The pool was a little on the cool side and the hot tub a bit too hot but otherwise a nice swim and soak. The staff was very friendly and were able to answer all our questions. Would recommend to anyone staying in south Calgary.

We have used this hotel on several occasions and have been very pleased with the location and amenities. We recently stayed for 5 nights while attending the Circle K Classic hockey tournament and it's easy access to major routes was perfect for reaching venues. Has decent dining options and is located across the street from a major shopping mall with many additional options. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff but we didn't get room service as promised on *******. We didn't get Towels/Basic stuff replenished in the room or got no cleaning done for the remaining days.
Sink in washroom wouldn't drain the water so had to use Kitchen sink only.
Bed was promised a King size but got a smaller bed.
