Elba Sara Beach & Golf Resort

2nd visit to this hotel . It is a lovely hotel staff are great , helpful and friendly . The facilities are amazing the pool is large and spacious. The food is good and offer a wide variety. The only thing I would make better is more entertainment at night and let it go on later . All round great hotel

This hotel is absolutely amazing! I cannot fault anything or anyone. We stayed in a prestige double on floor 6. Room was spotless! Restaurant on all inclusive had a huge variety every day, cooked fresh. Staff fantastic! Can’t wait to go back

We first stayed at this hotel in November 2021 and it was tired with mediocre food. We have just returned from our second visit and wow what a difference. The hotel has been updated to a much higher standard, the new Adults only sunbathing area is lovely and so are all the rest of the improvements. We were amazed by the excellent standard of food in the main restaurant and there are now two themed ones, Italian and Mexican. What makes this hotel extra special are the fantastic staff who work so very hard not just focusing on one area, they move around during long shifts. It was good to see management walking around talking to guests and getting feedback through written surveys. We travel a lot and to be honest do not normally know who the manager is at a hotel. We had a couple of very minor issues which were resolved quickly. Would we return? Well that’s a big fat yes, we will be joining all the other returners. Very well done to everyone at the Elba Sara for an amazing holiday.

We stayed a week in mid-January and really enjoyed our time at the Elba Sara. The staff were all fantastic and went out their way to help without delay. We asked to change room on day 1 (our first room was on the side with minimal sea view) and reception were able to swap us to a brilliant room on the 4th floor. Thank you! Food - no complaints with variety, we enjoyed the different theme nights and also did 'TexMex' one night where we had a large steak. Sometimes could have been a bit hotter, but depended if you arrived towards end of the session. Pool/gardens - always loads of sunbeds and always clean, staff collected empty glasses through the day. We enjoyed the new 'adults only' area, with more comfortable sunbeds and fewer people. Great area to relax. Drink - no issues with the AI drinks. Choice of 3 gins, Jim Beam, Smirnoff Vodka, CruzCampo beer - no cheap unknown spirits. Cocktails weren't tried, they were ready mixed and didn't look a close match to genuine ones. The bar staff were brilliant, remembering your name and even what your regular drink was. Entertainment - live music most nights in the main bar, other entertainment in the 'Broadway bar' some aimed at famalues with kids. Nice mix, and quieter areas in case you didn't want the music. TVs with live sport in the main bar, so good if your football team is live on Sky Sports. Refurbishment - still continuing in places (some corridors were out of bounds, but didn't affect us), but the benefits are easy to see and the remaining work should be finished soon. Overall, it's the best hotel we've stayed at in Caleta and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Thank you to all.

The resort is clean and tidy. The food is very nice. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It is located right next to the beach and a shopping centre. We have been for the last 2 years running and thoroughly enjoy it. Highly recommend ******

We have just returned from one week All Inclusive holiday at the Elba Sara. We arrived mid afternoon and were greeted by very friendly reception staff who offered us a choice of drinks. We were offered a room different to the one we booked that was much more suited to our needs. I had emailed the hotel about my wife's mobility issues - the room was perfect for us. The room had lots of space, air conditioning, a very large TV and a fridge. The bathroom had a walk-in shower. The hotel is close to the beach and a shopping center next door. There are a lot of seating areas so you can find a quiet place to sit and chat or go to the entertainment room. Service at the bar was quick and plenty of food choices in the restaurant . All the staff we were involved with were helpful and friendly. We did pick the school half term week so there were lots of kids about but we could escape to the sun beds in the adults only section. Its our 50th wedding anniversary at end of June so we are booked to return early July to celebrate - not long to wait. It was nice see Kasia, she used to work at another Elba hotel in the resort that we visited many times.

We came (2 adults & 2 children) for the first time in May 2024. The hotel is so beautiful, spacious, no problem getting a table in a restaurant. The rooms are really nice and spacious, cleaned daily. I would say it is the cleanest hotel we have ever been to. The air-con works great. The food always fresh, lots of choice for everyone. Our fussy children never were hungry. Lovely variety taste scoope ice-cream during lunch and dinner and access through the day from the Pool and Grill Tucan bar to snacks, drinks and ice-cream. All the staff super friendly and they go above and beyond always to please guests. Fantastic entertainment, especially the Mini Disco which our children loved it! Also the Kabaret Night was fabulous. Every night was a pleasure to stay till end. The whole team fantastic but our children love Airtor the most and the cute girl from Madrid (forgot the name). Fantastic experience and we will definitely will back in the future. This time we need to bring grandparents as we sure they will love that place too.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. We checked in at midnight on our first night to very unfriendly receptionists who were more bothered talking between themselves than telling us anything about the hotel. We were not offered a welcome drink or any food as they promise elsewhere. Overall set the tone for the week. Positives: Bedroom was a good size with a great size balcony but housekeeping could have been more vigilant - arrived to a dirty bathroom mirror that was only cleaned the day before we left. Beds were very comfy once we had asked for, and waited until the next evening, for extra pillows as only one person can give these out. The themed nights meant a variety of food although a lot were stews, some weird combinations, lukewarm or quite often run out with slow service to replace. My daughter enjoyed the kids disco although to adults it was very repetitive. Negatives: Too many little ******* like lights in the stairs had come out, communal areas were smeared or needed cleaning, the toilets near the restaurant were a disgrace with lack of toilet roll, doors not closing properly and the toilet roll holders fallen off the walls. Housekeeping kept taking towels but not replacing them so we were short or hanging up dirty towels we had left on the floor to replace. The ‘Mexican’ themed restaurant began with unlabelled help yourself starters very similar to the Mexican themed night before. The salmon I had was lovely, but we walked out without having dessert as the service was so slow. A lot of sunbeds, especially around the smaller, warmer pool, were reserved very early with people not turning up until the afternoon. We managed to get beds but away from this pool which my daughter preferred so we always had to go with her to the pool. Sun beds weren’t particularly comfortable either. Breakfast and dinner service was a nightmare to try to find a seat with tables that hadn’t been cleared and you felt like you were a burden to the staff who were supposed to be cleaning up. They did try one night to direct to tables which worked better but then didn’t carry it through. Staff ( except the entertainment staff) were miserable and not very engaging or friendly. Entertainment was a bit weird, quizzes played on mobile phones, although a couple of acts were very good but finished by 10pm. The seats in rows in the entertainment room were a bit strange, I’d rather sit around a table with my family than have strangers clambering over me. Everyone at 10pm moved to the upstairs bar where if you were lucky to get a seat, had to share again with strangers due to the layout unless you had a large party. Finally, we checked out at 12pm but didn’t get collected until 7pm for the airport. They insisted that our bands were cut off at this point, stating it was company policy and we couldn’t use All Inclusive anymore. Jet2 backed them up. They did eventually give us a voucher for lunch but wouldn’t give in. I’m a bit surprised to hear around the same time and

We stayed here for 7 nights. Overall, a lovely hotel with clean and spacious rooms and a good pool area with plenty of sun beds. The cats were very cute and well-looked after! The only negative was that the food could be hit and miss and a couple of times I was given food that wasn’t properly cooked from the show cooking area. There were also limited cocktails on offer on the all inclusive menu.
