Bluesea Cala Millor

We have just returned from this hotel. We booked with On The Beach. We arrived at the hotel after travelling from the airport for just under 2 hours. We could hear the music from the street as we approached the hotel. The reception was bright and airy. We were checked in quickly, paid our tourist tax, had our passports scanned and given the cards for our room. We were directed to block 2 which is across the road. When we arrived at our room we were disappointed to see the room was not as the photos show on the brochure we used to book with (see photos) The room was clean but it was very tired, very basic, the wardrobe smelt fousty (we kept it open all week), the bathroom is in need of maintenance (it’s an over the bath shower) the glass door is secured to the side of the bath so if you have mobility issues you might struggle to climb in. The bottom of the bath is very stained from what can only be described as dirty feet marks. (See photos). The balcony was a stone wall in front of you, not glass as advertised which was very tired with 2 chairs and a table that has been well used. The wall was used as an ashtray by the previous guests. (See photos). We went back to reception and asked for this to be addressed, this didn’t happen. The restaurant is spacious enough, the staff were very attentive and the chefs could be seen checking regularly. The food was basic, buffet food, if you want a full dinner not buffet you’ll be better off going out. Food overall not great but manageable if you like buffet. The all inclusive food operates during set times, food or snacks aren’t available all day, the bar is available until 11pm all inclusive. The location is great. You can see the beach and blue water from the hotel. It’s a very short walk (2 mins) to the vast selection of shops/bars/restaurants and beach. Overall this hotel needs maintenance and sorting out, very poor in block 2. If you are happy with stag/hen style parties, budget, basic and bland this is for you. In my opinion give it a wide berth!!

Can't fault the place,room is o good size,bathroom a little small but otherwise good and clean,great shower,food is tasty,a little limited selection but good none the less,staff friendly,poolside clean and litter free,pay 1 euro for your tumbler which I thought is a great idea as no glasses left lying around and you get refunded when hand glass back,can't understand the negative comments from what I saw,you but 3 star expect 3 star and not the ritz,tour holiday is what you make it,if returning to the area wouldn't hesitate to stay again

Awful awful awful place ! Disgusting toilet seat covered in deep dirty scratches that had to harbour such germs and god knows what else . Food awful Pool awful Cleaning , awful , non existent Paper thin walls , could hear snores from next room to ours Awful

The Room was nice and had part sea view.food was good except for the fried eggs in the morning . Nice swimming pools and friendly staff

Had a few days away with my wife for a short break, hoping for some good weather, we had a fantastic time there, the weather wasn’t great but thanks to Elena the entertainer at the hotel she made our few days a lot of fun We will definitely be going back again. Would definitely recommend this hotel as it’s about a minutes walk to the sea front & right in the center of the shopping area

Really friendly people decent food and spotless all around the hotel restaurant staff were friendly as we're all the staff very local to the beach and all the restaurants and shops we really enjoyed our stay the animation team were good and the bar staff.

The hotel is split over 4 sections with only tiny pools. The main reception in block one has the food and block 2 has the entertainment and bar. The food wasn't great,all inclusive, was very repetitive and the desserts were absolutely awful. We ended up eating out which wasn't ideal as it had all been paid for. The room was ok, the bath was covered in stains and the sink was mouldy on the base,in serious need of an uplift. Was cold at night and not enough blankets and the noise from others was awful. Wouldn't go again. The only positive was the beach which is less than 5 min away.

Very nice hotel central to everything staff lovely not enough sunbeds though but plenty of tables and chairs around its the 2nd bluesea we have stayed in the last one was in March in malaga we will be booking again thanks we stayed for one night but ask for a pool view room

This is really a 2 star hotel. If it wasn’t for the tv in the room and the small outside pool they would be downgraded. I was told to scan the QR code when arriving. Had to research when the breakfast was and where. The room had a bad smell in it so I had to keep the balcony door open and air in on heat all the time as the weather was bad. The glass in the shower was too short so there were water all over the floor when you had a shower, the hourly seat was the wrong for the toilet, it was very outdated in general. The tv had (except for 2) only German channels. You can hear party and people fighting all night. The mattress was so old I kept rolling in to the middle of it. The breakfast was poor. Square bacon, sausages that had the strangest color lying in a liquid, the coffee was brown water and the orange juice was lemonade. The reception staff was hit and miss. When asking for transfer time the Roman in the reception asked me if I really was studying there. I’m not expecting 4 or 5 star, but if the sleep isn’t nice and the food isn’t either, then what’s the point?
