Blind Tiger Burlington

The inn is a beautiful old Victorian with high ceilings and a gorgeous conservatory where you can eat breakfast. Hosts were all very nice. Breakfast was expanded Continental- breads, scones, yogurt, fresh fruit, prosciutto, lox, cheese. Room had a wonderful view of trees and Lake Champlain. Furniture was mostly elegant but then there were wooden chairs covered with graffiti, which really clashed. The side tables next to the bed were also modern- looked like dripping metal off the sides. This was right next to handsome burgundy wing chairs. Some of the floors had been sanded to a nude color, next to all the dark brown wood of the staircase. The new railings on the staircase had been neither painted nor sanded, which was a shame. Overall very good but the modern furniture and and paintings were disconcerting.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blind Tiger. We loved how easily we could walk downtown (about 15 minute walk) through safe neighbourhoods. The breakfast was exceptional, with lots of options. The grounds and building itself were stunning and comfortable. The staff were lovely and their thoughtful touches made the stay fantastic (snacks, beautiful solarium, fireplaces, local drinks).

Our stay at the Blind Tiger was fabulous. We had Room #6. It was a bit noisy in the morning from road traffic, but the comfort of the bed and sheets made it worth every second. The room was plenty spacious and the fireplace was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and eager to please. We even extended our stay by one night.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The house was so beautiful and perfectly styled. Breakfast in the sun room was so incredibly peaceful and inviting that I stayed in that room to draw and relax before check out!

From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and outstanding hospitality. The hotel's decor is chic and modern, creating a soothing atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. My room (#5) was immaculate and beautifully appointed, with all the amenities one could wish for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a fantastic night's sleep during my stay. One thing to note is that the rooms do not come with T.V. but I had my laptop with me as a backup. They also do not have an incidentals charge which was awesome! Breakfast was generous as were the delicious chocolate chip cookies. The staff at the Blind Tiger truly goes above and beyond. They were not only courteous and attentive but also genuinely interested in making my stay as enjoyable as possible, and assisting with any special requests, they were always ready to help. Overall, my stay at the Blind Tiger was a delightful and memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a top-notch hotel with exceptional service, luxurious accommodations, and a serene ambiance. I can't wait to return.

I was instantly relaxed when I stepped into the Blind Tiger for my daughters parents weekend at UVM! I absolutely loved everything about my stay! It was warm and felt like home but better because somebody came And cleaned my room. I can’t wait to come back and want to booked rooms for my daughters graduation in 2025.

Excellent hotel, beautiful decor, and amazing grounds. They had fun games to play, appropriate amount of breakfast items, and staff was incredibly kind. I highly recommend.

This old home is stunning!!!! We were up on the top floor in a small room and it was perfect. Clean and had everything we needed. I wish I could have seen this property back in the 1800's when it was first built. When we walked in the front door, our jaws dropped! There's a doorbell in the foyer you ring and someone comes to check you in. Grace checked us in and gave us a tour. She then showed us to our room. The breakfast spread the next morning was amazing! We ate outside overlooking the huge and gorgeous garden. The sun was finally shining. a beautiful way to start the day!
