酒店位置位於高原來說艾利斯的 港區， 位置尚算可以的交通 就十分不便你， 間酒店內的房間 衛生程度尚算可以的光量仍然新淨， 有關酒店的餐廳設備， 一樓大堂 相對比較細， 但酒吧及 咖啡室的服務態度及膝襪尚算可以， 前枱及禮賓部的員工 服務尚算可以， 至於頂樓的 餐廳景觀一樓， 可觀望整個首都的遠景琴海邊， 個人認為這酒店 酒店設施乾淨員工服務態度上可以， 應該說是阿根廷的服務態度始終是慢的， 又入餐廳開始計送餐牌及送水過嚟需要20分鐘， 不過這不是這間酒店的唯一問題是整個阿根廷都是這樣的，

The room cards malfunctioned on the elevators causing some momentary distress. Staff were very courteous and were very quick to assist or make suggestions with almost every interaction. Breakfast was an excellent leisurely experience every time!

Our stay at the Alvear Icon was brilliant from arrival to departure. The facility and accommodations are beautifully designed and appointed. Our experience at the Alvear far exceeded our stay at the Alvear Palace which is supposed to be the flagship sister property of the Alvear portfolio.

The hotel is very nice with very nice rooms in a good location. With the exception of the check in staff I found the staff friendly. The check in experience was disappointing given the luxury level and price point of this hotel. The check in staff I dealt with were not friendly or helpful and not what you expect in a luxury hotel. One star off for the poor checkin experience.

Stayed here for 2 nights before and 1 night after a cruise. All interactions with front door and front desk staff were terrible. Unfriendly and arrogant. On second visit I was told I’d turned up at the wrong Alvear Hotel and should take a taxi to the other one. My cruise agent spoke to them and showed them my booking was correct and I was at the right hotel. No apology or remorse for keeping me waiting while it got sorted. Key cards only work 50% of the time - again they don’t care. Facilities are good just don’t expect a pleasant stay.

What a wonderful hotel. The only negative is a king bed room really isn’t a king bed but two twin beds pushed almost together, there is still a gap between them. The hotel is very fancy and beautiful! I would not hesitate to stay there!

We stayed at this hotel for our pre-cruise hotel as part of our Antarctica cruise, so we didn't choose it. Location-wise, it wasn't central at all. However, we had stayed at the Four Seasons for a few nights before coming here, so it didn't matter much to us. But I wouldn't recommend this location to any first-time visitors. The room was beautiful and had a gorgeous view. There were two swimming pools - the outdoor pool was a bit disappointing as it was covered under the shade from other high rises when we tried to enjoy it in the afternoon. The indoor pool would be a good alternative if it weren't sunny outside. One thing to note was the hotel's exchange rate. It was far below the official rate, and we wished we had known that ahead of time. Lastly, the check-in and check-out process was a bit slow, and you definitely don't get the same 5-star experience as at the Four Seasons.
