Service at reception was superb upon arrival. Room was spacious with a nice bathroom. A bit tired but character features. Room could have been cleaner which is the only disappoin**ent. Had dinner and breakfast and both meals were excellent.

We stayed a Saturday night when a wedding was in full flow. Check in was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was quiet, being separate from the main building. The bar area was relatively small and dominated by wedding guests which was a negative. The kitchen shut at 9pm and no hot food available from room service which was disappointing. Breakfast was good and buffet style. The room was comfortable but the TV and channel options basic. I think it was slightly expensive for what it was.

Just a single-night stay but very restful and the room was great. Quite expensive though - couldn't have managed any longer.
