Hotel Yesterday

I was extremely disappointed with the hotel. Upon checking into the room, I found that air conditioning and heating were available, so I was reassured that if it got cold I would be able to turn them on. Subsequently, however, I could not find the remote control for the air conditioner, and the heater remained cold. When I inquired at the front desk, the answer was that it was not cold enough outside to turn on the heater, but also the remote control for the air conditioner was missing because the freon was being changed... OK, but there were no extra blankets in the room. The receptionist said he couldn't give it to us as the room where they were kept was locked and he didn't have a key... Highly disappointing!

The room was large and very warm, good wi fi, free parking , good breakfast, value for money. The hotel is far from the center but near the metro station. There are a lot of shop if you walk 5-10 minutes and a large mall that you can do shopping.

I stayed in this hotel from 26 June - June 2, 2022 on an official trip. Since we had to choose a reasonably budget hotel near University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest (UPB), this seems like a suitable choice from the internet search. Even though the reviews were not all in favor, but the price seemed good. My personal verdict about the hotel is as following: Pros: - Reasonably priced - Excellent location; right opposite to 'Carrefour' superstore and a mini mall - 10 minutes walk to University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest (UPB) - Neat and clean - Decent breakfast for a budget hotel - Only 5 mins drive away from AFI mall, one of the best malls of Bucharest - 5 mins walk to Metro station - Tram line is right in front (even though I didn't get a chance to ride) Cons: - No complementary drinking water bottle provided. I have stayed at least in 20 different hotels worldwide, every single one of them provided complementary water bottles; minimum 2, some provided as many required. I am not sure if it is a culture of this part of the world or not; but the price of the water bottle is so nominal that it could have been easily incorporated in the room rent. Hotel management should definitely think about it. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, so, replenishing the bottles should not be an issue. - Serious issue: The hotel management must do something about the corners of the bed in the room. Since the size of room is just enough, I scarred myself almost 3-4 times in those corners. If only the mattress is slightly bigger, they could easily cover the corners and solve this problem. Seriously! - No nametag on the items of breakfast menu. Majority of the hotels post the name of the food because the guests can be from any part of the world and may be sensitive to some foods. - No room service menu in the room. - At times, the hotel seemed understaffed. - No waste bin inside room. Only one in the washroom.

Koridorlarda kötü bir koku var. Odalarda terlik, su ve havlu hizmeti ya yok ya da aksıyor. Banyoda kayıp düşme ihtimalimiz yüksek. Restoranda gece boyu parti vardı uyumak ne mümkün. Kötü bir deneyimdi.

Yataklar berbat. Kahvaltı çok zayıf. Çalışan elemanlar fena değil fakat patronun hanımı olduğu söylenen kişi çok kaba ve saygısız. Tekrar asla gi**em. Odalarda ne terlik var ne bir bardak su. Müşteriye bu şekilde davranan bir turistik müessese olmamalı.

Yataklar ortaçağdan kalma. Havlular eksik. Terlik yok. Odalarda su yok. Yemekler vasatın altı. Otel sahibinin karısı cazgır bi tip müşterilere tebelleş oluyor. Görevliler bile mahcup oluyor tavırlarından. Otel çevresi itibariyle zayıf bir bölge alışveriş için müsait değil. Başka alternatifler deneyin. Tecrübe edilmiş bir kötüyü deneyerek bile bile lades yapmayın.
