Premier Inn Yeovil Airfield

The hotel location, and room were all good, other than we were located next to reception so every person entering and leaving seemed to make a lot of noise, plus the floorboards were very creaky

The location was good, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a disaster - had to ask to have our order taken (they were understaffed yet accepting non hotel residents), food was average. We were late for our appoin**ent due to the food taking so long to order.

Very comfortable stay. Easy parking, good quality room and friendly welcome. We often stay in Premier Inns and they are all good but this one seemed to be better than the average. We recommend staying here. The restuarant is also very good value with tasty food.

An excellent small two storied hotel on the outskirts of Yeovil town. Free parking and a first class diner next door. As a stop over it was ideal. A comfortable bed with all the usual mod cons including a coffee maker. Thoroughly recommended and will use it next time in the area.

Booked Prem Plus room and the TV was not working. Not able to fix the TV and no other Prem Plus room so given a choice of being moved to an alternative hotel which after a 3 hour drive was not acceptable or having a standard room. At 7pm there was no choice but to take a standard room and lost all the benefits of the Prem Plus room and no offer to refund the difference.

The stay was booked for 4 days over the Chris**as period as I needed accommodation nearby for my parents (both in their late 80s) with dementia and mobility issues. I cannot fault the staff; upon arrival they changed the prepared upstairs room to a downstairs one and changed the double bed to twin beds. Everyone was friendly, helping them with challenges such as using a keycard and ensuring they had additional tea and milk in their room. They went out of their way to reassure me that they would call me should there be any issues and I was not to worry about leaving my parents alone overnight. The stay went smoothly and I cannot thank the staff enough for their contribution.

Premier Inn hotel, meh dated old style premier inn, none smart TV and a floor that actually every square mm creaked and squeaked like something out of a bad horror movie. Room was like an inferno when we arrived, heating set to 25 Deg C, turned off and window open and two hours later still unbelievably hot in December! Table Table restaurant on site, totally unwelcoming, entrance a rotten wooden shack full of people smoking fags. Cannot believe how bad this was, apparent internet problems meant I had to spend 20 minutes at the bar trying to order meals, we weren't allowed to sit in the restaurant part, bar only allowed because apparently they had no staff, although at least 4 to 5 bar staff in evidence! Appears to be run by teenagers who don't want to work. Took two hours from arrival to finishing main course! Next morning, breakfast, more of the same, not allowed to sit in the restaurant, 20 minutes to get a fry up, they were turning punters away because they were "too busy" but less than 20% of tables occupied. After leaving the "hotel" we realised we had left something behind (two hours later), have now been trying to call them for two, yes two, DAYS. Phone never answered, no answer to emails, head office cannot contact them!!! No replies from Premier Inn head office to twitter/X, Facebook, Twitter DMs. Completely unbelievable. Need a visit from the "hotel inspector" or better still just close the place down!!

Difficult to review this one as, for the majority, the hotel is very good. The shower had the best pressure I have experienced in this chain, the beds were very comfortable and the staff welcoming. Location wise was perfect so all good there. Only problem was the floor - there wasn't a square centimetre that did not creak or squeak. This seemed to be the same in the room above and next door. Everytime someone moved there was a loud creak. Don't know how I slept at all - it felt like, to get to the bathroom, you had to do a Mission Impossible effort and jump from the bed to the wardrobe so that I didn't wake up my wife or the people next door. Strange.

My partner is disabled and wanted to come down to see her . We needed somewhere with a disabled room and the premier inn Yeovil airfield was perfect. Marko the receptionist was great and the breakfast at the airfield tavern was excellent, but make sure you book a table as they cater for the local people as well ,so can get busy
