We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it was clean, attractively decorated, cute commissary, great bars. We did not try the restaurant but it appeared lovely. The reason I did not give a high rating to the facility was the room lighting was terrible. There were small bedside lights and a small lamp up high on a shelf. When it was dark outside the room was barely illuminated with all lights on! And the bathroom lights were also very dim—even with the shower light on. Fortunately there was a lighted magnified mirror so I could apply makeup!

”Exceptional Stay at the Galt House Hotel - A Louisville Gem!” I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, and it was nothing short of spectacular! The location of the Galt House is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown Louisville with breathtaking views of the Ohio River. It’s within walking distance to many attractions, making it perfect for both business and leisure travelers. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was struck by the grand, modern decor that beautifully blends the hotel’s historic charm with contemporary elegance. The room I stayed in was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room offered stunning river views that made waking up each morning a delight. The amenities were top-notch, from the plush bathrobes to the high-quality toiletries. I truly appreciated the attention to detail. Dining at the Swizzle Dinner & Drinks restaurant was an experience in itself! The rotating restaurant offers a unique and elevated dining experience with panoramic views of the city skyline. The food was exceptional, with a variety of locally inspired dishes that were both delicious and beautifully presented. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary preferences, showcasing genuine care and hospitality. The service throughout my stay was exemplary. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to ensuring my stay was perfect. From the concierge who provided excellent recommendations to the housekeeping staff who kept everything spotless, the level of service exceeded my expectations. I also had the opportunity to relax at the hotel’s RIVUE Tower Pool, which was a tranquil oasis after a day of exploring the city. The facilities, including the fitness center and spa, were well-maintained and provided an additional layer of luxury to my stay. Overall, my experience at the Galt House Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. It’s a fantastic blend of southern hospitality, luxury, and comfort. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Louisville. It’s not just a place to stay—it's an experience you won’t want to miss! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

Hotel is nice, bed is comfy and the location is spot on for accessing the majority of Louisville. It is a great spot for those visiting for leisure which also comes with its flaws, once people finish partying it was quite loud at 0200 from both guests and those outside in the streets. You can hear everything from next door and in the corridors. Breakfast is good, bar staff were attentive and overall a pleasant visit.

This is the one of the worse experiences at Hyatt. The King Room Suite had a super tiny bathroom, The toilet seat was located at the door opening, the door barely brushed the toilet seat and it was cut in so it would not block the toilet seat. There was only one person working at the desk, she looked visibly frustrated when I asked her for 2 glasses for drinking water, said she was alone. Did not try the breakfast. One whole Hyatt Place Hotel was run by one person? Very disappointed with this location, Will not stay at Hyatt in the future.

We booked this room for 4 PEOPLE. All booking sites including staybridges own website state, a queen studio room, can accommodat 4 people . It does not. It barely fits 3. It is set up with 3 knives. 3 forks, 3 towels, 3 bowls, 3 plates, 3 wine glasses, 3 drinking glasses. We had to buy air matress for our daughter to sleep on. Would book again based on cleanliness and amount of things offered. But room accommodation is misleading.

It took forever to get my reservations after I already arrived. The room had no hot water. The room was next to the front office and they were yelling and screaming all night long at 12 o’clock at night. I had to beat on the wall to get him to be quiet and it still didn’t workwasn’t very happy at all. The shower knob came off in my hand was planning on spending two nights there’s no way I would’ve spent another night there.
