We had a wodnerful stay in Hote Gabriella. The hotel is located in the outskirts of downtown Tagbilaran City, tucked in a quiet neighborhood. It is a perfect place to relax. Its amenities are also complete, the rooms are clean and and spacious. I also did not expect that the hotel is already turning 7 years old, it looks like it just opened 1-2 years ago. It really is well=kept and maintained. The hotel staff are also warm and hospitable. It is a simple yet classy relaxing getaway. Great place to stay overall!

Everything was very good. Nice warm shower. Good service. HOWEVER, they put ridiculous thin / narrow blankets on the king size bed! The blanket as placed on the bed arrived halfway up my chest. Just enough to annoy. When put on the bed the long way, it was too narrow for my wife and I. Despite all other conditions being very good, I almost got no sleep because of this silly bed cover.

I recently stayed at Soledad Hotel and had a pleasant experience. The location is convenient, close to key spots in the city, and easy to access. The staff were welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had all the basic amenities I needed. I especially liked the comfortable bed and the quiet environment, which made for a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was simple but satisfying, with fresh options each morning. Overall, I had a great stay at Soledad Hotel. It’s a good choice for both business and leisure travelers. I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to others.

Be aware that this hotel has an old and a new building! The pool and gym were in de new building and looked great. Our room however was in de old building and was not good at all. It looked rundown, was poorly maintenanced and did not have the usual facilitities (waterkettle, hairdryer, glasses) that you expect for a price like this. The reception told us that Trip.com did not update de photo's online yet. They offered us a room in the new wing but charged P1.500 per night more for that. We ended up switching rooms in the same wing which look better en spacier but the window looked out into a ventilation shaft so there was no natural daylight. This is not a 4 star hotel and heavily overpriced for what you get. Reception staff was not flexible and inadequate, no manager at the premises, the restaurant staff however was very friendly and helpfull.

Woken up at 06:45am by owner playing music. Who then had a loud telephone conversation under my window. They offer a budget room - no kettle, no coffee, no bottled water, no toiletries, but charge a higher price. Breakfast is advertised as included, but it is only partly. You are allowed 200 pesos free (1 coffee is 100, 1 French toast is 100), after that, you have to pay for anything additional. On arrival, I informed staff that my toilet was broken as the flush did not work. They told me they'd look into it. When I returned, I was informed that I was right, it was broken, and I was given a bucket to flush.

The service was nice and check-in procedure smooth. It is. great pick up point for the Bohol Countryside Tours. Island City Mall is nearby and a Mc Donald's and 7-Eleven, too.

I was very pleased with this hotel. Everything worked great, including the AC and hot shower which are the two most important things for me. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very professional. I stayed for four nights. On the final night, there were a few times in the middle of the night when the power went out. But their generator turned on a few seconds after, not a big deal. I don't blame the hotel, it's the city that experiences occasional brown outs.

Amenities, do not expect much, they only provide water dispenser downstairs with reusable mugs; bedsheets are thin & a bit old but tolerable, looks clean and smells good, & blankets are ok; with 1 pillow only each bed; inside bathroom has 2 pcs small soap (though I saw 1 tiny cockroach inside, hu hu hu!). We enjoyed their TV with netflix. Staffs are kind & very approachable, & helpful as well. With limited parking (2-3 cars).
