This was one of the best stays I’ve ever had! We chose this hotel because Cinnamon properties never disappoint, and this was no exception. The experience was flawless from start to finish. Booking was effortless, with friendly and responsive staff. We traveled by train for a unique experience and arrived early, planning to visit Sigiriya before check-in. We arrived to Habarana by 6 a.m , since we had several bags, I called the hotel to ask if we could store them till we check in at 2 so we can explore freely, and they happily agreed. Upon arrival, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and their warm hospitality, along with refreshing towels, made our morning even better. The room was luxurious, clean, and beautifully designed with a charming village-style concept. Despite the rain, umbrellas were plentiful, ensuring no inconvenience. The location is stunning, with a serene lake, expansive grounds, and plenty of activities like tennis, volleyball, swings, and tree huts. The pool, overlooking the lake, was fantastic, with attentive staff enhancing the experience. The highlight was the buffet—one of the best I’ve had! The variety and quality surpassed even top-tier hotels, and the staff were consistently friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, adventure, or simply an unforgettable stay, this hotel is perfect. Exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and unmatched value for money. I can’t wait to return!

The room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay. I loved the bathroom space in my room. Dilki and the young staff take care of the guests very well. On our request, they arranged transport to Sigiriya and Pidurangala rocks for reasonable prices. We got a Village tour which was interesting and I recommend it to any of you. Their BBQ dinner also nice. Overall we had a great stay!

Sehr freundliche Familie, großzügiges Zimmer mit eigenem Bad. Wenige Meter von der Straße entfernt, auf der es zahlreiche einfache Restaurants gibt. Viele Geschäfte für Safaris oder andere Tagesausflüge ebenfalls auf der Straße vorhanden.

The Sungreen resort in Habarana is excellent! The service, food, cleanliness and presentation of the rooms, dining area, pool and gardens are excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend any tourists visiting the ancient sites of Sigiriya, Dambulla and Anuradhapura as well as the Minneriya NP to base yourselves at this lovely resort. The operations manager Lahiru was extremely helpful in advising and suggesting yours and he arranged everything so well.
