Outstanding Luxury Experience – New Year Celebration (31 Dec 2025 – 1 Jan 2026) I stayed at this hotel to celebrate New Year from 31 December 2025 to 1 January 2026, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome from all the staff. Every team member was extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating, making us feel valued and comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel truly feels like a palace. Based on my personal experience, it is much better and more luxurious than Sokha Sihanouk Hotel and Independence Hotel, where I usually stay. It even offers the same level or more luxury than Try Palace in Kep. Every detail reflects quality—from the door handles to the bed, everything feels premium and well-designed. All facilities and equipment are modern, luxurious, and very clean. The room was spacious, with a huge bathroom, including a separate bathtub, shower/steam room, and toilet, which made the stay even more comfortable. One thing I really appreciated was the generosity: • Soft drinks and fresh fruits were plentiful and completely free • The breakfast for special for the New Year celebration, breakfast manu • They even offered free breakfast for my two children, even though they were over the usual free age limit — a very kind gesture The location is perfect, with what I believe is the best beach in Sihanoukville. The sand is incredibly clean, smooth, and soft—like ground powder—and the beach area is well maintained. I accidentally took their room key, the hotel staff were extremely understanding. They were not upset at all and kindly allowed me to return it on my next visit to Sihanoukville, which shows their trust and professionalism. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. It is far more luxurious than Sokha and Independence Hotel, and easily ranks among the best luxury hotels I have stayed at in Cambodia. I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a true luxury experience, especially for special celebrations

I have absolutely loved my stay here! My room was just perfect with a little plunge pool directly facing brilliant sunsets each night. The bed is massive and super comfy and they use lovely linen and fluffy towels! The staff are all so friendly and always make an effort to say hi whenever they see you. There are plenty of sunbeds and the beach is gorgeous. There are a few negatives but these are only for info only really. The resort is just that .. a resort. There’s not a lot around here .. a few makeshift mini marts and a couple of local restaurants. Apparently it takes 1 hour 45 mins to walk to Saracen Bay where there’s a bit more going on and I decided against that! I did get the taxi boat to Saracen Bay which I highly recommend, but it was quite treacherous getting on and off the boats and ensured I wasn’t in a hurry to do it again! The taxi is not free .. which I think is a shame based on the room rate .. and costs $10 return. Perhaps it would be more popular to do a ride there and back each day rather than separate trips for $10 a pop? I think the hotel could benefit from having a shop with products in like beauty products and chocolate and maybe offer some essential services like waxing in the spa? Just ideas to consider .. I will be sad to leave this little bit of heaven and hope to come back one day .. it’s been just lovely .. thank you 🌴

My family stayed here on recommendation and absolutely loved it!! Beautiful beach, pool, and island life. Max the manager was extremely friendly and helpful. Before we even arrived he helped us with arranging things and gave useful tips for our trip. All the staff was kind and helpful. My only disappointment was it seemed difficult for the staff to stay up with beach towels, but I understand the place was full while we were there. The bathroom was also not great, but appropriate for a beach front hotel. The free stand up paddle boards and volleyball/badminton nets are fun (wish they had a ball though) Would definitely stay again

เราผิดหวังเล็กน้อยกับการต้อนรับของโรงแรมจากบริเวณที่จอดรถเพื่อเช็คอินที่แผนกต้อนรับ เห็นรีวิวไว้ว่าจะมีเวลคัมดริ้งก์ตรงทางเข้าแต่ไม่ได้รับเลย เพื่อเปรียบเทียบกับโรงแรมทั่วไปอื่นๆ ในสีหนุวิลล์ เราไม่ได้รับการรักษาพิเศษใดๆ จากโนโวเทล ทำเลที่ตั้งค่อนข้างไกลจากของกินแต่ก็โอเค อย่างไรก็ตามสำหรับสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกและความสะอาดของโรงแรมนั้นเป็นที่ยอมรับและสะอาดและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกยังใหม่เอี่ยม

The resort is very clean and well maintained. Its in front of on one of the most beautiful beaches in Koh Rong (and Cambodia). Long beach have the cleanest turquoise water and white sands. The staff are very helpful. Only thing to consider is the location itself is very far from Koh Touch and Longset Beach area which is the main spots for bar hopping and nightlife. It’s very private and quiet which makes the experience feel very intimate and personal.

Amazing for couples! Will come back again in future and for sure can recommend this place to stay. Located on the best beach, wide and long, perfect for jogging or workout. Just one thing, if you booked this hotel, contact support center to make sure hotel received your reservation and has room for you. Reception spent 15 minutes looking for our booking and we were lucky to get free room. But other couple who arrived during CNY had the same situation and due to holidays resort was fully booked. They must stay and shared room for few days to get their private room.

We had a pleasant experience at Soksan Beach Resort. While the room we stayed in was a bit dated, it was still comfortable. Overall, it’s a good place to relax, though do note that it’s quite far from Long Set Beach and Koh Touch, so some travel is needed if you plan to visit those areas.
