I don’t quite understand the hype surrounding this hotel. Apart from its scenic view and peaceful ambiance, there’s not much else to say about it. The breakfast was ordinary, and you’ll have to pay extra for a cappuccino, while black coffee is the only one that’s free. The TV is also quite small. I’m not planning to return here.

Ketapang Indah Hotel was very well located for me - it was a short drive from the Ketapang railway station and the ferry port to Bali. I was very impressed with the grounds, which are very well maintained and presented. It has a lovely outlook over the strait towards Bali. I had a hotel room, but there are larger villas available. The hotel room was a little bit small, but was fine for my purposes. Perhaps it is slightly dated, but the bed was comfortable. I had a great time in the pool, which was large and clean. The restaurant was strange - I'd say 80% of the guests were local Indonesians, but 80% of the evening guests were Westerners! I asked where the locals had their dinner and apparently they go to the warungs out on the road. Anyhow, the food I had over 2 nights was fine and the service very friendly. Breakfast is extensive. I would stay there again, mostly for its accessible location.

โอ้โห ที่นี่เป็นที่พักที่ซ่อนอยู่แต่ดีเยี่ยมจริงๆ! บังกะโลที่ Purwa Ijen นั้นยอดเยี่ยมมาก คุ้มค่ากับเงินที่จ่ายไปอย่างเหลือเชื่อ ตั้งอยู่ในหมู่บ้านเล็กๆ ที่เงียบสงบและเป็นธรรมชาติสุดๆ มีวิวสวยงามและพืชพรรณเขียวชอุ่ม (นอกจากทุ่งนาข้าวแล้ว) จุดเด่นของเราคืออาหารเช้า เราได้ทานสมูทตี้โบว์ลที่อร่อยที่สุดในทริปอินโดนีเซียของเราเลย ทัวร์ Ijen (500,000 วอน) ก็ราคาดีมาก การเดินทางไปขึ้นเรือเฟอร์รี่ไปบาหลี (200,000 วอน) ก็ไม่แพงเช่นกัน เราชอบห้องน้ำที่กว้างขวางและระเบียงที่แสนสบายพร้อมวิวป่าและทุ่งนาข้าวเป็นพิเศษ ในความคิดของฉัน Purwa Ijen เป็นที่พักที่คุ้มค่าที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งในบริเวณ Ijen แนะนำเป็นอย่างยิ่ง WiFi ก็ใช้งานได้ดีเยี่ยม

อย่าอาศัยอยู่ในห้อง 214 แค่อยู่ในห้อง 218 ห้อง 214 มีน้ําอุ่นเพียง 6 นาที ซึ่งทําให้ฉันเป็นหวัดและไอ พนักงานโรงแรมไม่ค่อยเก่งภาษาอังกฤษ และไม่มีแผนกต้อนรับตอนกลางคืน ฉันต้องวิ่งไปที่แผนกต้อนรับด้วยตัวเอง คนอื่นค่อนข้างน่าพอใจ

房間不錯，喜歡野奢露營感不二的選擇。到宜珍火山腳就45分鐘車程，很方便。因為宜珍火山本來很虐，想舒服點調整一下自己，我們在這裏住了2晚哦，體感很不錯～BBQ晚餐烤牛排很贊，白天還可以騎車附近村子轉轉～完全可以把很虐的宜珍火山搞成度假風～而且酒店很有心，微信都會提早聯繫，而且我就在他們商品店諮詢了便攜餐具🍴價格，離店時候就送了我一份，太有心了～

Great place, well maintained, with swimming pools, its own rice paddies!, marvelous service. We've been here for one night, but had to regret our plan did not let us stay longer. Our objective was to trek Ijen, which is just 30 minutes away from here. The frontdesk can help you with the driver, the health check, tickets and supplying breakfast in a box. However, there is much more on site and around to make a longer stay enjoyable.

Osing Bamboo resort was exactly what I needed while I relaxed in preparation for my Mt. Ijen hike. I only stayed one night but it really felt rejuvenating. They really have done an excellent job at nestling into such a beautiful spot in the jungle overseeing the river. Despite the rural setting, I found the bedding and amenities to be very clean and fresh. The staff was excellent at accommodating my requests for room service and other things. Food and lattes were delicious!!! Such excellent quality overall and a great deal too! If you’re in Banyuwangi just hanging out before or after your activities definitely stay here!

The hotel is conveniently located near Kalibaru Station, providing easy access to Ketapang (for Bali) and Banyuwangi city (for the Ijen tour), just an hour by train. The hotel features its own dairy farm with fresh milk, and offers activities like spice and coffee plantation tours. For adventure seekers, the basecamp of Mount Raung is only 20 minutes away by car, with a hike that takes at least two days and one night. The swimming pool is large and clean, and the garden is well-maintained. The hotel has a good restaurant offering a variety of Indonesian and Western dishes. Wi-Fi is reliable, though the TV had no signal, and there was a brief power outage, quickly resolved with a backup generator. The staff are friendly and helpful.
