88285SueHVery friendly staff at check in. Room very clean, decor in good order and nicely presented. Bathroom very clean and in good order. Had an evening meal in the pub which we were very happy with - food tasty, nicely cooked and good value for money.
The only negative for us was that the room was very cold when we arrived,just 16.5 degrees. We turned the thermostat up to 20 degrees but this temperature was not reached for several hours.

As one of Marriott’s brands, I expected a little more, but overall, the hotel delivers the essentials for a pleasant stay. The rooms are very spacious, with two double beds—perfect for a family holiday. The indoor pool and the gym is a nice touch, though it’s worth noting that external guests can also use it.
Things to keep in mind:
Parking – There’s a £7.50 per night charge, which feels a bit steep. The website mentions free parking for conference delegates, so it might be worth asking at check-in.
Holding Charge – A £50 pre-authorisation is applied to your card. While common in some places, many UK chains no longer do this, so plan ahead if your card balance is tight.
TV Experience – The TV system could use an upgrade. Menu and guide functions weren’t available, and picture quality was poor—even on HD channels.
Room Details – The room was spotless, but we noticed condensation on the windows and a slight odd smell on arrival. Nothing major, but worth mentioning.
Overall:
The hotel offers the comfort and space you’d expect from a reputable brand, but a few details—like parking, the TV system, and the holding charge—felt out of step with Marriott’s usual high standards. Still, if you’re looking for a clean, spacious room and good facilities, it’s a solid choice.

ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel was well located as we visited friends in nearby Wootton Basset - reception was courteous and efficient in our check in… we asked for a room way from the lifts and this request was delivered.
The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Air conditioning worked perfectly given it’s been a very hot few days!
Breakfast the following morning had plenty choices and tables were clean and cleared up quickly. Staff in restaurant were very efficient and courteous. Express check- in was good too. Overall a great stay and serves us well.

ผผู้เข้าพักThis hotel has got high standards on cleanliness and service consistently. On a bitterly cold weekend the room was warm throughout. In fact very comfortable bed and no need for extra blanket. 2 small issues. The pillows were a bit lumpy but fine and the restarant did not serve evening meals to our liking but overall outstanding !!! Cannot wait to return.

MMeander ChinaA central location, near to public transport. There are lots of places to eat and drink nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast wasn't extensive but is adequate. I would definitely stay again.

TThe citizen of the WRLDClean, comfortable hotel. Comfortable bed, the shower is working properly. We enjoyed the stay itself.
The only thing is that we booked the hotel for the big amount of people and the prices were growing accordingly. So the stay for the first and the last person who booked the hotel was twice smaller / bigger.
Consider that and you’ll be fine.
