My stay at the Catalonia El Pilar was nothing short of exceptional. This hotel has a charm and quality that far exceeds its official four-star rating, and I firmly believe it deserves a fifth star. From the moment I entered, I was struck by the beautiful, character-filled decor. The hotel masterfully blends historic charm with modern comfort, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. This sense of character extends to the rooms, which are impeccably clean and spacious. The excellence began at check-in with the wonderfully helpful and efficient receptionist service. Every staff member I encountered was professional and genuinely dedicated to ensuring a perfect stay. The breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide and delicious selection of hot and cold items that provided the perfect start to each day of exploration. It is clear that the management is doing an excellent job. The seamless operation, the motivated staff, and the meticulous attention to detail throughout the property speak volumes about their leadership. A final note on the location: Zaragoza itself is an amazing city, a captivating blend of history, culture, and vibrant local life. For better or worse, it remains wonderfully off-the-beaten-track for the majority of travelers, making it a truly authentic Spanish discovery. Combining this incredible city with a hotel of such high caliber makes for an unforgettable trip. I would not hesitate to return and cannot recommend the Catalonia El Pilar highly enough

I had a very comfortable stay. All the staff were kind and had lovely smiles. It was a shame that there was construction going on from the entrance to the front desk. The location was also great, right next to the Gran Via station, making it convenient for going to department stores and downtown. I would like to stay there again if I have the opportunity.

El trato del personal siempre ha sido de lo mejor. Es nuestra cuarta estancia en este hotel. En dos ocasiones hemos recibido una habitación mejor de lo que teníamos reservado. Las instalaciones tienen sus años pero se nota la renovación. Lo que más nos ha sorprendido el desayuno. La calidad ha mejorado muchísimo. Estaba exquisito. No nos acordamos de las estancias anteriores que fuera algo excepcional. Ahora sí lo es sin duda alguna.

El hotel está en excelentes condiciones. La ubicación es ideal para mi intención, la habitación amplia, sólo poco iluminada si hay que poner un pero, y al baño no le faltaba ni un perejil. Muy contenta.

La habitación estaba bien. Minibar, caja de seguridad. Desayuno optativo no lo contratamos. No nos gustó que el estacionamiento hay que tener en cuenta que es un ascensor y que depende el modelo y el peso del auto sirve o no sirve. Ante la duda nos fuimos a otro parking. Se puede llegar caminando al centro histórico en 10 minutos. Asi se ve la catedral.y plaza del pilar en el atardecer.

Hotel 🏨 molto bello ed elegante, direi regale, al centro di Zaragoza, vicino Plaza de Espana, dotato di molti confort. Camere spaziose, servizi e optionals eccellenti. Paolo e Rosy da Roma, Italia

Dusty room (dust balls coming out from under the bed), very old bedding, mold on the shower walls, very dated in general. On the first two floors the hotel hosts (illegal) immigrants. They're hanging out in the lobby area, the hallways and the cafeteria. This gives a rather uninviting atmosphere (although there were no troubles).
