Would recommend! Safe area and great services. I made 2 bookings separately and they arranged to have to stay in the same room (free upgrade) with late checkout as well!
Outstanding service, above and beyond Hilton brand and more in line with Four Seasons. Example: the greeting person Harrison: I had not been here in a couple of years and we arrived late. Coffee service was set up for my company. Other guests drank it all! He corrected it with fresh everything in minutes. Then I remembered- he got me a cappuccino years ago when I was running late to the ride. Over 10+ years Harrison is so much more than a door greeter. Harrison is the face and personality of the hotel. Also on the team that are AMAZING: the concierge Jackson-he can make Columbia come alive and ensure safety. Imbedded in his service is security. The breakfast staff do anything and everything-instantly and in perfect English. The front desk-reception staff insured I had a room when my company booking did not come thru. They made it their problem not mine. I travel the world in nice hotels, and in this one you will feel elevated beyond the brand because of the people. They reflect the best of Colombian culture.
My stay at Ibis Museo was very enjoyable. First time in Bogota. The hotel is about 25 mins away from El Dorado Airport and check in was very smooth. My spanish is very basic but the staff was very patient and answered all of my questions. It is conveniently located right next to Museo National and within walking 15-20 mins walking distance to the La Candeleria area and all the museums in that area. Theres a 24 hr La Rebaja Plus that is less than 5 min walk away from the hotel and a mcdonalds less than 5 min walk in the other direction if you need something familiar. The room service came every day with fresh towels and the security was Always outside scoping the area which made me feel pretty safe. Would def recommend and will return 👍
I came to bogota to visit by myself, and I stayed at Salvio hotel for this trip. The service was really good and efficient. They helped you for the transportation from airport to hotel, arrange for day tour and from hotel to airport as well. They would followed up with driver for the updates for your trip in Colombia. The hotel is very chic, clean and housekeepers are doing a good job, every time when you return to your room, it is so spotless. The rooftop bar&restaurant and breakfast buffet was excellent! I really enjoyed the view and everything. The facilities were amazing, especially in the gym area. I wanted to say thank you to front desk employee John and the lady named Carol G. She was a lifesaver! I highly recommended to stay at Salvio.
Location is in a quite area alongside a main street with much public busses passing by and between Coferias convention center and Salitire shopping mall. A 20 minutes walk brings you at thr Clinic Universitaria Columbia Hospital and passing Grand Estacion mall. It us also a 15 min drive (in the early morning, with minimal traffic) to the Eldorado international airport. Hotel is clean and well maintained with the usual Columbian friendly staff. They speak sufficient english an I espanlish to understand each other. In the building complex both Wyndham an Tryp hotel are located with separate lobby at floor 2. Below are plenty of restaurants, varying from fast food (Sub way etc,), coffee shops (Juan Valdez), Japanese and Mexican Grill, Hooters, to even fine dining (Basa Brasil). Rooms are ok, but some single bed rooms can be small. The first one (602) didn’t even had a desk to work. I requested a desk and they moved to another room with a working desk. The bath of these rooms is a bit small and when showering the floor adjacent to shower in bathroom also becomes significantly wet. The two bed rooms are larger and do is bathroom and doesn’t have this issue. Rooms have a safe, but no refrigerator. Price quality is excellent, internet issue (one day the internet was down at the evening and getting tablet and phone simultaneously on WiFi was a challenge) is main reason for to rating it with 5. Hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to airport, but it starts at 5:30 am. If you have an earlier flight, the hotel taxi bring you there for 32000 pesos (less then 4 USD). Great Hotel option if you need to do business in that area.
My experience was from the front desk and every other service that they offer. They upgraded my room for free and the room was spectacular. They added an extra touch by providing me with local fruits free of charge. At the front desk they volunteered to helped me plan the stay, routes, transportation, everything was great. At the restaurant I told them what I was looking for and asked them if they had it they didn’t have it on the many but they made it for me anyway, and every time I went afterwards even without me asking they kept making stuff specially for me without being on the menu. The gym, is way better than most fancy gyms you pay a high subscription for. The spa was amazing too. There’s so much. Absolutely everything that the hotel offers is great. And people were so friendly and kind and welcoming and treated me like A VIP, even though I look like a vagabond. They offer transportation which is great because it provides that extra level of safety and security

This hotel is amazing, the suites are HUGE. Bigger than my first apartment. Really enjoy all of the amenities. The staff are very helpful, especially Camillo at the front desk. He helped me with food recommendations and also ordering room service (my Spanish is terrible). I've stayed here twice and it will be my choice for any subsequent trips to Bogota.
The bell boy Carlos Diaz was amazing super friendly above and beyond!! As soon as he would see us he was happy to help in any way! The hotel wears clean and in a great location thanks Carlos for all your help!
I have seen quite a lot over the past decades, but this must be the worst hotel I have stayed at and this is primarily due to its management. But first: a simple hotel in very good location, but with thin walls and in an increasingly deteriorating state. Staff is generally very helpful and nice. Breakfast offering very basic! Main problem: management wants to recover Covid losses by charging damages to guests without proof that they have been caused by them. In our case, the cover glass for the desk had a small piece missing at the edge and we were told that we had caused this and had to pay for it! Obviously, we did not check the room for such minor damages when checking in (at the end who treats a hotel room like a used car and checks for scratches in the whole room?). When my wife talked to the responsible manager by phone (who refused to talk to us in person), he mentioned directly that the hotel had to recover Covid losses as reason for why we were charged for this 'damage'. When my wife insisted that we were not responsible for the 'damage', he blackmailed us, saying that the staff would then have to cover the cost of a new glass. Certainly the most unpleasant experience I have ever had in any hotel in the world.
JJacksjolliesCustomer service was pretty rude and dismissive and this is coming from a super chill kinda customer.
Room is clean and modern but basic. No water bottles supplied - definitely should be at the price the hotel charges.
Location great with transfer to airport but you must give 24hrs notice or they refuse to collect you.
Breakfast is 5/10. Not terrible but limited in selection and not very good quality.
Wifi was also poor.
Gym is dire.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend it.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe best part of this hotel is the breakfast. Lots of food options and great taste as well. They also serve some rrally good Colombian food and soup. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.
The room is ok but not impressive. The problem is that they do not provide consistent amenities. We have two rooms booked, with one room has sufficient shampoo and body wash supply as well as coffee machine, the other does not have either. When I called the front desk, they could not help as they did not know where to find the supplies.
Other than the above, the location is very good, conveneint and safe.
Spacious room, comfortable bed, very clean! Good breakfast and very attentive staff. It’s super well located! Great value for money! Would stay again! The hotel allows, if available, to pay by late checkout!
