A beautiful and unforgettable hotel. The property is absolutely stunning. The setting is peaceful, the views are breathtaking, and the architecture and rooms are exceptional. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Upon arrival I was warmly greeted with a welcome gift and a room upgrade, which set a wonderful tone for the stay. I absolutely loved my time here and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and tranquil experience. However, transportation logistics need significant improvement. Because the hotel is in a remote location, reliable transportation is an essential part of the guest experience. My arrival driver arrived about 45 minutes late. There was some traffic, but it was moving well enough that a slight delay would be plausible — not 45 minutes. During the journey, he made an unannounced stop at a wet market for approximately 30 minutes, which greatly extended the trip. I also found his driving to be reckless, making what should have been an enjoyable journey quite stressful. On the morning of my departure, I sent a message through Trip.com asking for assistance arranging transportation to the train station. Unfortunately, I never received a reply. Because I had very few alternatives, I ultimately had to pay 600 RMB for a last-minute ride to the train station. For comparison, the same drive to arrive was 120 RMB. Before writing this review, I contacted the hotel privately. They apologized for the inconvenience and said they would improve this process for future guests. Future guests are advised to arrange and confirm all transportation before arriving. Despite these transportation issues, I would still recommend this hotel. If the transportation coordination matched the quality of the property, it would easily deserve a perfect rating. 风景优美、令人难忘的酒店。 酒店环境非常优美，景色令人惊叹，建筑和房间设计都很出色，工作人员也十分热情友善。抵达时，酒店送上了欢迎礼物并为我升级了房间，让整个入住体验有了一个美好的开始。我非常喜欢这次入住，也会推荐给想要享受宁静自然环境的旅客。 不过，酒店在交通安排方面还有很大的改进空间。 由于酒店位置比较偏远，可靠的交通安排是入住体验中非常重要的一部分。 入住当天，接送司机迟到了约45分钟。当时路上虽然有些堵车，但车流尚在移动，稍有延误尚可理解，但迟到45分钟实难接受。途中，司机没有任何说明就在菜市场停留了约30分钟，导致整个行程被大大延长。而且司机驾驶鲁莽，让原本应该愉快的旅程变得十分紧张。 离店当天上午，我通过 Trip.com 提前发送消息，请酒店协助安排前往火车站的交通，但一直没有收到任何回复。由于几乎没有其他选择，我最后只能临时安排车辆，并支付了600元前往火车站。相比之下，入住时同样的路程仅花费120元。 在发表这篇评价之前，我先联系了酒店。酒店对此表示了歉意，并表示今后会改进相关服务。 建议未来入住的客人，在到达酒店之前提前安排并确认好所有往返交通。 尽管交通方面存在这些问题，我仍然会推荐这家酒店。如果酒店的交通安排和沟通能够达到酒店本身的品质，我认为它完全值得满分评价。

Jacky' s guesthouse is a very cozy and homely place . Jacky himself speaks fluent English and that itself would make it easier for foreign travellers who don' t speak mandarin. As I was on crutches and had trouble navigating the steps leading to the guesthouse, Jacku himself helped me up n down quite a few times. This is a great place to unwind and sliwly immerse yourself in the culture of the local tribes in the area and Javky' s place is a very convenient starting point. Highly recommended for any independet traveller wanting to see yuan yang

This hotel is a must if you go to the rice terraces!! We had a lovely stay here and the staff was incredibly kind. We got a delicious breakfast everyday, we received amazing service in their restaurant and always got water and sometimes some extra's. The room was very spacious, had AC, a heating pad and lovely view. They also have a viewing platform with a nice view. Also from this hotel you can visit a lot of sites in the neighbourhood. The staff accomodates their guests with their every needs!

So happy with this stay! High-end, modern facilities in the most incredible location. Felt more like a four star hotel. Some of the best pictures I got in Yuanyang were taken right on my balcony. The room was spacious, the staff were so helpful, and the hotel food was delicious. It's a bit more on the expensive side relative to nearby hotels, but I think it's well worth the money. Would definitely stay here again!

The homestay commands a splendid view of Duoyishu. I’m staying on the 2nd floor. I did a time lapse from the inside of my room from about 5:30 am till 7:30 am of the sunrise. Though the sky is overcast, some sunlight did stream through & hit the padi fields. The effect is wonderful. Unfortunately, I’m unable to post the video here. I did some videos & photo taking from an opening window. The sunrise is more to the left of the window. In order to capture the sunrise, I’ll need to place my phone outside. Of course I did take precaution with a handphone strap to my wrist. The service of the homestay is very warm & hospitable. The owner sent 2 staffs to collect my tote bag which she placed into a big basket & walk me from the main road to the residence. It’s about 200 m walking distance on a narrow path. But on the way, you get great view of the Duoyishu. I would highly recommend staying here!

Sometimes when traveling, you find these magical places with wonderful people that make for precious memories. This was one such place for me. Immediately when entering, I could feel that this is like a home - with a lot of love put into every little detail and the warm and welcoming spirit of the hosts. One of them (Tina) even speaks English and she is very well-travelled and kind enough to share her knowledge and time and give many many really helpful recommendations. It's difficult to put into words, so all I can do is say thank you and wholeheartedly recommend staying here and experiencing this wonderful place! It's the perfect home away from home in a beautiful area with wonderful hosts.

Good no smoking rooms. Very clean. We were a group of 9 ranging from 18 to 83 yrs old. Breakfast and dinner were simple but good. Fresh veggies were cooked. Plenty of fruits in foyer. It is a bit of a walk from the main. Street to the accommodation. They did carry our luggage. For the young it is simply an amazing accommodation. The views r great from some rooms and from the roof. The hostess is very nice. I would say anyone below 75 who can walk well should go there
