We booked two rooms for two adults and two children, aged 16 and 4. The hotel is small, very cosy, and surrounded by a beautiful bamboo forest. The nature around it is stunning, with fresh air and a wonderful sense of peace and quiet. It is the kind of place where you really feel at one with nature. There are many different natural attractions nearby, as well as walking trails. In the mornings we went running through the forest, during the day we explored the surrounding area, and in the evenings we enjoyed swimming in the pool. The hotel itself is very cosy, the rooms are spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need. Comfortable beds, excellent bed linen, good curtains and air conditioning allowed everyone to sleep incredibly well, almost like when we were children. The hotel has a beautiful warm swimming pool, which is carefully looked after by the staff every day. The water also appears to be continuously refreshed. A good breakfast was included in the room rate. There were eggs, porridge, noodles, oat or coconut milk, and several other dishes. It was more than enough for us, and everything was excellent. We also had dinner at the hotel. On the first evening we ordered far too much because the portions are very generous, especially the soup. Even though the staff warned us that it would be too much food for us, we only removed one dish from our order! Everything was delicious and we really enjoyed it, especially the shredded pork with bamboo shoots and the huge portion of assorted mushrooms from the local bamboo forest. The food at the hotel is very well prepared. Many thanks to the young woman who looked after us during our meals, and to everyone who cooked for us! By the way, after they found out that I love dumplings, they twice brought me additional portions as a complimentary treat. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and always ready to help. The service was excellent, Check in and check out was smooth and quick. The guy who runs the place went over and beyond. Before we left Chengdu we added the phone number and connected with him on WeChat. He helped check if our train (We bought tickets for Yibin) passed through the nearer train station. He helped to organize a driver for us from Yibin to the hotel. For breakfast the served simple but yummy bamboo noodles. Cleanliness I give them 10/10. The hotel is well maintained, super clean, even under the beds (we moved out 2 beds together). The bed was too comfortable. The pillows were super great. Had a beautiful 2 nights of sleep. The room was spacious. Location is great. A little away from the main area but close enough to walk there. the museum bus station is a few meters away (3 mins walk) and the cable car is 1km away. I suggest walking there, its a beautiful walk surrounded b bamboo. The guy who runs the place helped us to map the route to the places we wanted to see. I would stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Shunan Zhuhai Xiuzhu Pingzhuang Residence for one night, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the owners, who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Their hospitality was truly exceptional—they were always ready to help with anything I needed, whether it was providing local recommendations or ensuring my stay was as seamless as possible. The residence itself is charming and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated, with all the amenities I could ask for. The location is also fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. What truly stood out, though, was the genuine care and attention from the owners. They made me feel like a valued guest, and their positive energy added so much to my stay. I highly recommend Shunan Zhuhai Xiuzhu Pingzhuang Residence to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. I’m already looking forward to returning in the future!

Our 3 nights at Hampton Hilton Cuiping was fantastic. We had a room with beautiful view of Min river, buffet breakfast on 20th floor was very delicious and the view was breath taking. Our room was clean and very well designed with good quality amenities. Self service laundry facility was a an added bonus. The front desk was very friendly and their service was superb especially Xiao Liu who patiently explained & show us where to take the bus to the viewing platform to see the night lighted scene from opposite the city. Also the next day, the front desk staff called ‘Jian Tan’ (sorry if I got her name wrong) help us with booking taxi to railway station and waited with us to ensure we board the taxi at the correct spot. I highly recommend Hampton Hilton Yibin Cuiping to everyone coming. It’s a beautiful hotel facing Min river and 10 min nice walk to the bus stop for bus 02 & 39 to Lizhuang ancient town and stops just opposite the hotel bus stop on returning.

The two of us who stayed at this homestay/hotel are in complete agreement that there are only great things to be said about it. I wanted a private space to drink tea and smoke ciggies, so I picked a room with a terrace. Upon arrival, the owner kindly upgraded us to another room that he said had a better view from the terrace. I’m not certain which room it was that we ended up in, but the view was incredible and the terrace was massive. We spent hours drinking tea and watching the clouds drift and the bamboo sway. The food was delicious! We particularly liked the “soft beef” something, which was actually a mushroom dish, and the pork belly with bamboo shoots. The light soup and pickles served during breakfast were also noteworthy. The kitchen staff were super friendly, and I got the impression that they are treated well. I enjoyed this homestay infinitely more than any luxury hotel I’ve stayed at.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable, and the view from the window was absolutely amazing. The hotel itself is large and modern, with several buildings, so there is plenty of space. I especially liked how convenient everything was. The hotel has a small shop, a gym, a laundry room, and a good breakfast. This is especially convenient for a longer stay because almost everything you need is available right at the hotel. But most of all, I want to mention the staff at the reception. A special thank you to Qixu! He was very kind and helpful, helped me figure out some Chinese apps, and was always willing to help. Despite the language barrier, it was very easy and pleasant to communicate with him. Overall, I was very happy with my stay. The hotel gave me a really great first impression of Yibin. I would definitely recommend it! ❤️

My partner and I have stayed in this hotel before in February. Came back again just to enjoy this hotel again. Again, this hotel did not disappoint at all, cleanliness was still excellent, service was very good and convenient especially being able to communicate with the front desk using WeChat. They even gave us an upgrade of our room. The staff was extremely friendly and always greeted us when they saw us. The cleaning staff were professional also (they even tucked our soft toys into bed haha). The gym is also very well equipped and well maintained considering it is a hotel gym. They even have trainers at the gym, and they have PT classes at the gym too but of course you have to pay for it. But the gym staff are all very friendly and accommodating. I think this hotel would definitely be our first choice in Yibin always. This hotel is a great reflection of the people of Yibin, warm, welcoming and very loving. Highly recommended! Best hotel in Yibin!
