Except the fact that parking is very limited and i took a fine, all was good. We have stayed in App 10 and the water was coming cold. We asked reception and was informed that under the sink in the bathroom there is a boiler that has a cold/hot water switch. Reception explained this but did not take the initiative to do it themselves. As a Best Western member I was expecting a little more involvement from the staff. MAGDALENA the receptionist was the only one who took the service of receptionist to the best level. Wish you the best in all activities
Nice hotel - staff at reception very busy trying serve drinks etc as well as book in guests, but very helpful, we had a roof box on our car which stopped us using the underground car park , however were directed to their small open air car park (had the last space). Breakfast very good. only a short stroll to the middle of the town
My husband had business nearby and we stayed here because it was recommended to us. We were able to walk into town and have dinner and explore the city. The fitness room was well equipped and roomy. There was a Finnish sauna and steam sauna. Also men’s and women’s (out or order) sauna in rest room area. Two separate areas to lounge inside and outside. The hotel had bike rental available, which I did one day. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and service was very nice.

When we stayed here for the first time in September 2008, my husband had the flu and we couldn't really enjoy the beautiful countryside next to the hotel. Now we returned to visit my mother and to attend my high school class reunion which also took place in a room at this hotel (beautiful room) which was downstairs. We had the same suite (257) that we had 7 years ago and everything was perfect again. It's lovely to have two bathrooms and two showers. Quel luxe :)! Also there is an extra door between living room and bed room, so you cannot hear any people in the hallway of the floor. A very peaceful hotel. The only thing we missed was air condition. Even though this was already October, it was still warm in Braunschweig. But other than that no complaints at all. The staff is very helpful and friendly, speaks English flawlessly. Breakfast was delicious like we remembered it from our first stay. If you have an extra day, I can highly recommend to drive less than half a mile towards Kreuzteich pond (just ask at the reception and they'll give you directions). You can walk around the pond and then cross the street and walk around the cloisters Riddagshausen. Ask for Kleiderfellerweg which is not far from the old house with the archway and the cloisters. There's also an area where several old farming houses have been renovated in the early 1970's. Turn into the small lane next to the shoemaker and park your car there. You will see the farm houses right there.
KkimUSAFBeautiful hotel within walking distance to Centrum; we were able to park in garage across street for discounted rate of 7 euro/24 hours. The room was totally renovated, with new ”wood” vinyl plank floors, king bed/mattress, but still had 16 foot ceilings (made me wonder what it looked like 20 years ago); elegant staircase going up, but there is also an elevator. Mini fridge had everything you wanted, but we were also able to take out beers on top shelf and put in a bottle of our wine. We brought our doxie along, and the hotel is very pet-friendly. I am glad we stayed here v. Best Western (which is in a bit of a ”seedy area”). The breakfast was delicious which included hot scrambled eggs...can't say enough about the hotel.
