Dated furnishings. Arrival - TV had to be re-programmed, (I did that myself) lamp beside bed was not working, turned out to be a faulty outlet behind headboard, plugged into outlet beside bed and it worked (I did that myself). Very loud heating unit in room cycled constantly all night long and woke us every time it kicked on. Hot water was not as hot as it should be and took several minutes to come up to temp. We asked for a bottom floor quiet room well ahead of time, (weeks!) upon arrival we were given the last room left on the bottom floor.. next to the washing machine room (open 08:00 - Midnight). Toilet tank had continued water flow after flushing, removed lid and reseated tank drain plug (I did that myself). Bathroom sink drain was clogged, took a long time to empty (I didn't have plumber tools with me otherwise...) Cell phone service at our room was non-existent...for whatever reason. We reported the problem with the lights, housekeeping showed up with a light bulb, I had already switched bulbs with another lamp, it wasn't the problem - we told her this and she never returned... possible language barrier(?) Once WE fixed all the problems WE found, it was an average stay. Based on the level of competence we were dealing with there, we didn't bother with anything but coffee the next morning. After reading reviews here that a few folks had their cars broken into recently (two this year) I felt that we were taking a chance staying here in the first place. Will seriously consider an alternative in this area next time. Staff was helpful as possible, but it was obvious there is minimal attention to detail as I would have expected from a Hampton Inn. We were quite disappointed with this one.
