Welcome to our charming Cottage in the historic town of Beaufort, SC. This 3 bedroom (sleeps 6), two bath home features beautiful marsh views and a beautiful yard with fire pit for your enjoyment. This home is tastefully decorated and the kitchen is equipped with everything needed for meal prep in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Take a bike ride or a walk along the Spanish Moss Trail only two blocks away. The waterfront Downtown Beaufort is a short drive away and only a 10 minute ride to Parris Island if you're looking to visit for a Marine Graduation! We provide our guests with one Hunting Island Car Pass to be used as many times as you'd like during your stay. Chambers waterfront Park located off of Bay Street is only minutes away. Many guests enjoy walking there to take in the scenic views of the Spanish Moss and southern architect. Beaufort offers many different activities year round such as: festivals, fishing, boating, local seafood cuisine, Port Royal Farmers Market, history museums, outdoor events, and much more! The town of Port Royal is less than a 5 minute ride from the home as well and offers a public beach that we call "Sands Beach." Hunting Island State Park and Beach (a must do!) is a 20 minute ride from our cottage. There is a beach pass provided at no cost (however if this is lost or not returned there is a charge of $125.00 ). All these activities and dining options are right around the corner from Water's Edge Cottage! This picturesque South Carolina carriage house sits next to our home, Craven House, in the beautiful historic district in downtown Beaufort, one block from the Beaufort River marina, Bay Street shopping, museums and restaurants. Walk everywhere, even to the post office. Wren’s Nest has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a full bed. In between the two bedrooms, there is a shared full bath. The unit has hardwood floors throughout and a fully fitted kitchen. Relax on the porch or furnished patio surrounded by 100 year old oak trees draped with Spanish moss, lovely gardens and historic homes. The sound of the church bells of nearby St Helena Church, one of the oldest continual working churches in the country, will take you back into the 18th century.This carriage house with separate upper and lower units was recently brought back to life after many years of neglect. It truly is the best location in Beaufort, near the Anchorage House, Beaufort Inn and Rhett House, Beaufort’s most popular wedding venues. From here It is an easy drive to Paris Island, the Sands beach in Port Royal and Hunting beach on the ocean.Linens are included. Bonny Cottage is located on the property of Ellen and Mike Tomy, one block from the Beaufort River, in the beautiful historic district of Beaufort, South Carolina. It was built in the late 1800s after the recent "unpleasantness". This cottage is so cheerful and has such a sweet spirit, a bad mood will disappear very quickly. The living room offers a smart tv and small breakfast table with adjustable leaves. The kitchen has a full refrigerator/freezer, microwave, full cooktop and oven. Coffee can be made using the keurig or French press. We enjoy sipping the coffee on the second story porch. It is 5 blocks to the bluff overlooking the Beaufort River and Beaufort's scenic Bay Street, then a little farther to the Waterfront park, restaurants, and shopping.The entire upstairs floor is accessible to guests including a large upper porch.
