Welcome to our charming Cottage in the historic town of Beaufort, SC. This 3 bedroom (sleeps 6), two bath home features beautiful marsh views and a beautiful yard with fire pit for your enjoyment. This home is tastefully decorated and the kitchen is equipped with everything needed for meal prep in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Take a bike ride or a walk along the Spanish Moss Trail only two blocks away. The waterfront Downtown Beaufort is a short drive away and only a 10 minute ride to Parris Island if you're looking to visit for a Marine Graduation! We provide our guests with one Hunting Island Car Pass to be used as many times as you'd like during your stay. Enjoy your morning coffee sitting in the backyard area under the Spanish moss canopy of Southern live oaks and pines or roasting marshmallows at night at the outdoor fire pit. Our cozy Cottage offers our guests their own piece of paradise here in the Lowcountry. **Area Info**Beaufort, SC is a wonderful area to visit. The Henry C. Chambers waterfront Park located off of Bay Street is only minutes away. Many guests enjoy walking there to take in the scenic views of the Spanish Moss and southern architect. Beaufort offers many different activities year round such as: festivals, fishing, boating, local seafood cuisine, Port Royal Farmers Market, history museums, outdoor events, and much more! The town of Port Royal is less than a 5 minute ride from the home as well and offers a public beach that we call "Sands Beach." Hunting Island State Park and Beach (a must do!) is a 20 minute ride from our cottage. There is a beach pass provided at no cost (however if this is lost or not returned there is a charge of $125.00 ). All these activities and dining options are right around the corner from Water's Edge Cottage! Bonny Cottage is located on the property of Ellen and Mike Tomy, one block from the Beaufort River, in the beautiful historic district of Beaufort, South Carolina. It was built in the late 1800s after the recent "unpleasantness". This cottage is so cheerful and has such a sweet spirit, a bad mood will disappear very quickly. Lovely views are all around.Bonny Cottage has one bedroom with a comfy queen bed and a large bathroom with a shower, a full kitchen and laundry room. It stands alone and has a pleasant patio outside for early morning coffee and late afternoon wine and cheese. Children under 12 are not allowed. This bright upstairs apartment has lots of windows and a high porch with views to the Northwest Quadrant, one of the four neighborhoods in Beaufort’s Historic District. The side door is used to walk upstairs to the condo. The small bedroom (just big enough for the bed) has a queen bed and small closet. The on suite bath has a tub/shower and toilet. The living room offers a smart tv and small breakfast table with adjustable leaves. The kitchen has a full refrigerator/freezer, microwave, full cooktop and oven. Coffee can be made using the keurig or French press. We enjoy sipping the coffee on the second story porch. It is 5 blocks to the bluff overlooking the Beaufort River and Beaufort's scenic Bay Street, then a little farther to the Waterfront park, restaurants, and shopping.The entire upstairs floor is accessible to guests including a large upper porch. The rear patio with table and chairs is available as well.There is off street parking available. Enjoy the front porch after a long day of exploring. We’re within walking distance (5 blocks to the bluff) to shops and restaurants on Bay St and a 25 minute drive to the beach at Hunting Island State park. Off street parking available for one vehicle off of the alley directly behind the cottage.
