Fabulous alpine style hotel. Up a slight hill but easy path to walk minutes from the lake even for us pensioners. Pretty gardens everything immaculate outside and in. We had a huge balcony facing south and enjoyed the late autumn sunshine. Very tastefully decorated good beds and a powerful shower. Small fridge with water and wine. Coffee machine and kettle. Breakfast was a feast with fresh bread and fruits and croissants to set you up for the day. Staff were all delightful. Highly recommend a visit here 😀

Wonderful, very comfortable, spacious, peaceful and authentic guesthouse centrally located just a few moments beautiful stroll from Lake Bled. Luca, the owner extends the warmest welcome...his love of hospitality is evident. Delicious buffet breakfasts include cereals, freshly-made yoghurt, fresh fruit, juices, cold meats, cheeses, breads and pastries and scrambled eggs. This guesthouse hums with quiet efficiency and comfort so you really don't want to leave.

It was an amazing time. The surrounding is beautiful with the Lake, the River Sava, the historical buildings and the great people. The Pension Berc ist the best choice. The rooms are beautiful with a lot of space, the breakfast is perfect, free electric bikes in good shape and each single employee IS motivated, friendly and suportive. I added three additional days and will come back. Thanks a lot for this perfect time .

We stayed here for 3 nights and very much enjoyed our stay. Our room was very comfortable and plenty large for the two of us, with a couch, table, and even a small desk area. The hotel is in a nice location, not right on the lake, but a few minutes of walking away. We had free parking for our car, and we especially enjoyed the e-bikes they had available for use; we rode them around the lake. Breakfast was included as part of our stay; it was good with multiple options and one sunny morning I enjoyed eating it on the outdoor patio. The hotel also has a restaurant, but we didn't eat there. Our room rate was not cheap but didn't seem excessive for a resort town. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would happily return.

We just finished our two night stay and had a great experience. Our room was extremely clean which is very important to us. The hotel is an easy, short walk to Lake Bled. The breakfast in the morning was very good. They also have E-bikes for the guests to use free of charge and are a lot of fun to ride around Lake Bled on. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Bled.

I’m not sure the great reviews of this lovely family run hotel even do it justice. The buildings are beyond charming, the grounds impeccable and the staff all warm and friendly. We had a top floor family room which had plenty of space, the beds were perfectly comfortable and it had all the amenities and extras one could ask for. A fridge stocked full of free drinks and treats. We had dinner when I did the restaurant which was delicious and reasonably priced for the level of food and service. But we loved the quiet location yet easy proximity to the lake. A bonus was used of the free e-bikes which our family loved. Thank you for a perfect stay!

This hotel was a beautiful traditional stay we loved the room we had N6. The staff were so friendly and helpful & the breakfast was so fresh and plenty of options they have E bikes that what a nice surprises the gardens are so pretty & the on-site restaurant was 5 star the best cream brûlée we’ve ever had we loved our 3 night stay

Charming place to stay in Lake Bled! We spent two nights after a multi day hike in the Julian Alps - and couldn’t have picked a better place to recover. Spacious room with large balcony. Attentive and welcoming staff. Thoughtful benefits such as free use of e-bikes, beach towels for the lake and complimentary mini fridge. Quiet and peaceful location with patio and gardens but still only five minutes from town where there are some huge unappetising hotels. Yummy breakfast buffet. Recommend without any hesitation!

Don't stay here. Poor management I cannot express enough my disappointment with this hotel. I had contacted and paid for a reservation in March with this hotel. I did not receive any confirmation of this reservation after this or notice that my payment was received. I later contacted Hotel Berc, thinking that this was the American name for this hotel, telling them that I needed to cancel due to developing Covid and complications that arose secondary to this. Hotel Berc acknowledged receiving this email, so I assumed that this reservation was cancelled. I ended up being charged 250.00 for my reservation at Penzion Berc even after I explained the mix up to both hotels as they are owned separately by two brothers. Considering my age, confusion, and illness I had hoped that I would be shown some grace. Instead, I was told that this was the policy, and my bill would remain. I cannot recommend anyone staying here. This only reflected poor management at this hotel, not Hotel Berc as they were more than reasonable.
