The Inn is a great place to stay while visiting VA Tech. The staff and service are excellent. Haley at Preston's dining was outstanding!
I'm sure it's not the norm but they were having problems with the hot water heater during our stay. I had two very early mornings where there was no hot water. A cold shower in February is not ideal. To be fair the front desk informed us that the hot water heater was being replaced but they said you would have to let your water run to get hot.... it never got hot. : ) Still overall it was a great visit and the Inn is a top location to stay while visiting VA Tech.

We stay here when we visit of VT student. It is perfect because we park and can walk to football or basketball games. Bar and restaurant on property are perfect!

What I like is that the Inn is a full service hotel with a functioning bar and restaurant which is becoming more difficult to find everyday.

Enjoyed our quick overnight trip for a Hokie basketball game. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet as well.

The room was very nice. I loved the breakfast buffet. The only negative is the book in the room about the New River Valley hasn't been updated since 2020.

PROFESSIONALISM OF THE STAFF WAS WONDERFUL. COMFORTABLE BEDS AND ROOMS. TWO SINKS IN BATHROOM. HEATING/AIR CONDITIONING WAS EXTREMELY QUIET. EVERYTHING WAS FIVE STAR. ONLY MINOR THING WAS WE WOULD HAVE LIKED A COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST FOOD BAR FOR A QUICK IN AND OUT MEAL.

Gorgeous facility, excellent location. Very friendly staff. The food wasn't great though - ate both an expensive dinner and 2 $13 breakfasts and I don't think I'd eat there again.

We've always wanted to stay here and overall the stay was pretty good. The hotel is in great condition, the check in and out process was simple and the staff was great. Rooms were a little small, but other than that, everything was fine.
