Hayward Hotel

Advertised as Comfort quadruple room - there was only enough room in the room for two beds head to foot, and there wasn't even a wardrobe to hand clothes, there was a shower room with room for a bath mat on the floor only, when sat on the toilet knees were under the sink and alost touching the shower screen. When using the shower the shower head did not stay in place and it fell down regularly, almost hitting my six year old head when it fell. There was no kettle in the room, albeit there were sugar milk and tea etc to use, bnut no cups either. Furthermore there was no hairdryer as advertised, and I had to shower in the morning and leave my hair wet until it had naturally dried as I did not bring a dryer with me due to this being an item that would be supplied.

The hosts are friendly enough and location for us was good but those are the only positives. The entire place needs a good clean a lot of maintenance and a paint job. We literally only wanted it to sleep in as was spending a lot of time out bit if it rained it wouldve been awful, 3 TVs in the room and not one worked. Unfortunately didnt discover till this morning the huge stain on the matress protector or I wouldnt been able to sleep on that. The kids bed needs a re paint and it's full of grubby hand prints. The blinds both missing slats and all locks on doors broken.

I can only say about hayward hotel is its ok for purpose to sleep one night if your expecting the ritz then its not for you tv not working which didnt bother us as we was only there to sleep in it stayed in family room slept ok but good value for money Steve the owner very pleasant and breakfast was lovely could not do enough for us

Simply appalling hotel, in all respects. Really needs a major refurb and another change of ownership. Subsequent emails sent but ignored. An indication of the disinterest of the owners/management. Quite possibly the worst 2/3 star I’ve stayed in in Blackpool.

It’s not the ritz … it’s a budget friendly hotel .. it’s not the best but it’s not the worse I’ve stopped in .. if your looking for a comfy bed , hot shower and decent breakfast then this is the place … but if you want all singing and dancing luxury then stay away …this is a no frills hotel but the staff are friendly and food was good .. the rooms aren’t sparkling but you get a hot shower and tea/coffee facilities… and a good nights sleep

It was not my best stay in Blackpool room was smelly dirty towels disgusting bin in room was never emptied had to buy bedding and towels along with air freshener it is a dive and that is being polite would strongly advise people if you read this review to not book and an top of that they took payment twice which I am still waiting for refund nearly a month AVOID THIS PROPERTY at all costs you will be very disappointed at lack of cleanliness

Room was nice clean did what I needed shower was hot what more do I say hotel was quiet I didn't eat there so don't know about it but all looked clean

People at the hotel very friendly. We got what we paid for, would return. The guy that dealt with breakfast was friendly, and had a laugh with the kids and us.

It was awful we was looking for train tickets at 2am because we had bugs crawling around the room. We didnt even wait for breakfast which we paid extra for we juat wanted out
