The Cosy Nook

Excellent value for money. Small seaside b&b similar to many of the other properties around Blackpool. Spotlessly clean, friendly owner and a hearty breakfast served with a smile in the morning. No problems at all - would come back again without hesitation.

Excellent hosts and very clean and comfortable rooms a very homely and friendly place wouldn't stay anywhere else great facilities a breakfast to die for, the in house bar is a well added extra for your trip, Roy and vicky are exceptiona hosts you couldn't ask for anything better and we'll located

Had to cancel my stay due to illness and was charged the full price of £91 very poor i was willing to pay some of it even half would have been fair .but the full price disgraceful wasnt even offered to move my booking to a different date. So they have been paid double for that room happy days for them

Just heading home after a one night stay with friends. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We arrived and were met with a warm welcome from owners Roy & Vicky. We had planned to drop the bags off and visit a few places during the day, but several hours later we were still in the bar in the Cosy Nook thoroughly enjoying Roy & Vicky's company. Rooms were spotless and breakfast was incredible. All locally sourced food. They couldn't do enough for us. We even spent a few hours with our hosts prior to leaving, and it felt we were with friends not hosts. Can't wait until we go again. If you're visiting Blackpool, the Cosy Nook is the place to stay.

Fantastic place to stay Owners are very friendly Roy is bit of a nutter in a nice way You can't fault there place I had room 3 bed was very comfy and the room was spotless Breakfast was excellent Can't wait to go back there

Absolutely fantastic. Roy and his wife were fantastic. Went with my wife and daughter (7) things couldnt of gone better. Great smiley hosts, fantastic breakfast, fantastic prices with food and drinks they sold. Great hosts great personalities, rwe felt really valued they treated my daughter so well too, music at breakfast was great too and in the evening had football and boxing on. Beds comfy, clean and tidy. Tbh we didn't want to leave we enjoyed that much. I've been in loads of b&bs and hotels in Blackpool none even compare to this hotel. Book it you won't be disappointed.

Visited the cosy nook for the 2nd time and already booked for next year.The Hotel is central to everything you may want to do. No parking but there's a parking lot nearby,a church you can park in,or a 5 minute walk to a council carpark ( which is where we park)The welcoming from Roy and vicky was a warm welcome and not a problem that we arrived early to check in. The rest of the guests were all friendly and seemed to be having a nice time too. Changes had been made to the bar/ dining area which was nice. The bar and little shop was very well stocked. They are in the process of upgrading the bathrooms,which are dated but are in a clean working condition. Our room was clean,cosy and very warm ( perhaps a little too warm) but I'm not moaning it was a cold evening out.Excellent full English breakfast cooked by Roy.My grandson enjoyed all the pastries. I cannot fault anything about our stay other than I wish we had booked for longer

Wallpaper hanging off the walls. The lounge window was set up like a shop. Not clean. I will not be going back there, the only redeeming feature was the breakfast. The room was cold, the heating was not turned on.

Once at the property I was greeted by the owners Roy & Vicky. I was told that they had tried to contact us the previous day to cancel our stay and that Orbitz was aware of this. They said the reason was that the room we had booked was only for one person & there would be an additional 20 pounds per night fee for one extra person in the twin bed room (an additional 80 pounds for our 4 night stay). The owners then offered to let me see the room. The room was top floor. There is no elevator at The Cosy Nook. The stairway was very narrow & would be difficult to navigate with our luggage. There was a twin bed & wash basin, no wardrobe, only hangers on a wall hook and not much else. The "communal toilet" was right outside our door & the "communal shower room" was next to the toilet on the same floor. Both are used by all guests. I went to speak with the owners to share my concerns about our pending stay. The owners said they're always booked up & haven't had any complaints re: their 1 guest per room policy. I asked the owners if they would issue a refund if Orbitz were to contact them & the owners both agreed they would. While still at the property I contacted Orbitz to explain our predicament. Orbitz said they had tried multiple times to call the owners with no answer. I confirmed the owners phone #, he showed me his phone with no missed calls from Orbitz. The question still remains, why did the owners try to cancel our booking the day before we arrived?
