Exremely friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast. The room is perfect.

It was great, but the breakfast was no buffet, so we were forced to less healthy choices then we would have liked. Staff was very friendly. View was beautiful.

Was there at 3pm for check-in, sadly i was the only person there and could never check in

Staff didn't speak English but it wasn't a problem. Check in and booking a table to eat was fine. There was a set menu which wasn't written down which was absolutely delicious and such good value for money. Again, breakfast was all already laid out on arrival on each table so I felt very catered for. There was free wifi and ample parking on site. There is a sign visible from the road so it's very easy to find. But. After a long 6-7 hour drive I was very tired. The curtains in the room didn't draw properly which was odd but it wasn't too bad, the room wasn't too light. Then as I'm lay in bed trying to relax, a church bell rings. One dong. So I open my window to take a picture of how close the church is and I hear the most almighty thunderous noise I have ever heard in my entire life. Which just gets louder and goes on for longer. Because the hotel is near a military air field. So I get back in bed and the chuch bells start chiming the hour. Then I hear another plane from the air field which, to be fair wasn't as loud or long the second time. Shortly after that though, I hear bugles playing horns. And when that stops? The chruch bells. It was like something out of a comedy. The church rings on the hour and there is a single dong every half hour. Even through the night. And 7 O'clock in the morning means get out of bed because the bells ring continuously for 3 minutes. Not what you need before a 9 hour drive back to the uk!!!! But the hotel itself was fabulous.

Diese Bewertung bezieht sich ausschließlich auf das Restaurant. Das Restaurant versprüht den Charme der 70er Jahre ohne dabei in die Jahre gekommen zu sein. Alles ist sauber, ordentlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Karte wechselt wöchentlich und bietet bodenständige Gerichte (Schnitzel, Cordon Bleu etc.) zu fairen Preisen. Wir waren in unserem 2-wöchigen Urlaub insgesamt 5x dort und waren jedes Mal ausgesprochen zufrieden mit dem Service und der Qualität der Speisen.

Het is een prima pension met dito kamers (ik had het geluk dat ik een zonnig balkon had), maar wel heel eenvoudig. In het restaurant heerst een ouderwetse sfeer en het eten is goed maar heel basis. Volgens mij wordt er 1 grote pan soep voor de hele week gemaakt en die serveren ze dagelijks uit aan de gasten. Daarna een schnitzel. De keuze is dus niet reuze maar het smaakt best. Het personeel werkt hard en is vriendelijk. Het ontbijt is zeer eenvoudig, kan beter.

Comfortabele kamer met genoeg plaats en veel kasten, piepklein WC, en badkamer zonder deur wat wij persoonlijk niet zo ideaal vinden; heel goede douche en ruim balkon met prachtig zicht op de tuin en de bossen supervriendelijk behulpzaam personeel. De eetzaal is ouderwets en tamelijk donker. Eten is typisch duits, grote porties.
