Very nice hotel for Guinea-Bissau. Had a bit of confusion checking in when the desk clerk requested payment even though we paid through *******. Very nice extras in the room (family suite): plenty of towels, slippers, bathrobe, comfortable beds, refrigerator, shared common area with closable door for privacy, plus adjustable AC.

Do not read any negative comments. This place is luxurious by any standard, especially Bissau. The location is just perfect and central to everything you may want to do and see there. Staff are great. Book online for a better price. The only thing, which could be improved is breakfast, but ask for an omelette and cheeses/ bread/ coffee/ juices are great. Enjoy!

Let me start by saying this is a foreignly owned hotel in Guinea-Bissau which treats Bissau-Guineans as if they were animals, especially women. I have visited the hotel on two occasions on the first occasion, both occasions were deplorable. The first time, I wanted to attend the bar by the pool with some friends, at the door the Lebanese manager profiled us and insinuated we were "sex workers" not knowing that we work as international civil servants in the city. When reprimanded, they did not apologize, the receptionist raised his voice and used aggressive hand gestures, we felt unwelcome and left. The second occasion, using the ice cream spot on the right-hand side (Gelataria Gellati), everyone was so nice (bissau-guinean employees). Shortly after we were served, the short Lebanese employee began to unhook the solar cover which had dust and debris over our food, we asked why he could not ask us to move, and he exclaimed aggressively "if you want you can move", we left without eating our food and let the other employees know, and they apologized. There is a general lack of respect for women in this hotel, especially from foreigners, they have cultivated an environment which has normalized treating women like 2nd class citizens, and it's deplorable. I do not recommend this place for any human being that has respect for themselves, let alone if you are a woman who respects herself. As an alternative, I would recommend Ceiba (higher end) or Azalai (mid-range), don't give Royal your money.

They stole items out of my Colleague room, Money and sunglasses. The food orders took two hours to arrive, my colleague asked for no onions in his food, the food arrived full of onions after two hours waiting. I suggest you avoid this place or bring your own food to eat if staying for one night and never ever leave any valuables in the room! They have no safe in the room

Le séjour a été convenable dans l'ensemble. La propreté et l'accueil ont été sans reproche. Seuls remarque c'est l'absence de cintre à linge dans la chambre que j'ai occupé. Par ailleurs, la connexion avec les paiements:réservations en ligne doit être améliorés car j'ai reçu au moins 2 fois des questions à ce sujet (moment de paiement et date de sortie).

Très bel hôtel en centre-ville avec piscine sur le toît avec vue imprenable sur la ville Malheureusement le restaurant n' est pas à la hauteur et le petit-déjeuner n' est guère plus brillant (pour le café, bocal de nescafé dans lequel tout le monde trempe sa cuiller et pour les petites viennoiseries, mieux vaut arriver vtôt)

Отличный отель в центре города. Бассейн на крыше, с прекраснейшим видом на город! Хорошие номера, новый ремонт, всё цело и работает. Прямо сейчас все улицы вокруг ремонтируются, асфальт снят, не проехать. Дорого, но в этом регионе все хорошие отели дорогие
