I go here every year for september and January for an avon conference. Basic but clean and tidy. Has a bar and food is nice. Not always got shower and shampoo and conditioner in rooms. But just ask.

Staff friendly and accommodating.
Room badly in need of updating. Old dated furnishings.
Door doesn’t shut properly. Towels could be cleaner old, could do with new ones.
Bathroom has black mould, could do with proper cleaning. No iron, could not get one, had to go to the the hotel laundry to use one.
Light in corridor only work in certain places very dark outside the room.
Room size good.
Lighting inside poor.
On the whole; I would not recommend this hotel.
This hotel has a long way to go in-terms of improvement.
Parking is excellent.

房間比較乾淨，都挺好的，比較安靜，有餐廳，餐廳的早餐也價格合適，推薦大家入住。房間的吊頂也不錯垃圾桶也有塑料袋

When I rejected it then allocated a single room and I payed for double standard

Okay for a one night stay…. Very dated and old, weird smell in the room and a T.V with no Smart Apps. If you are after a comfortable mattress don’t expect one!

Second time visiting the Great Barr, and actually in the same room as I was 2 weeks ago. As nice as last time, but a shame I had someone in the room next door who had their tv really loud. Not the fault of the hotel of course.
Will be returning next time I'm in the area.
