Over night stop as we were visiting friends for a party in the area. Super friendly staff right through from checking in to checking out. Arrived at about 5.30pm but could have had the room from 3pm, which was great. Easy check-in and welcoming staff of arrival. Another definite added bonus was the 12pm check out. No rushing to get out. Plenty of time for a leisurely breakfast and pack up. Room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. A sweet added touch that our daughter came in to a colouring page, crayons, kitkat and a little glider plane on her bed! Even at 13 she loved it! Beds were super comfy, no disturbances during the night so slept well. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had and also, the freshest. All cooked to order too. Tracey who was in the kitchen was great and the breakfast reflected this. Plenty of choice for both a cooked option and the continental style. Definitely worth paying the extra to include breakfast and as you get in all Premier Inn’s, our daughter ate free! We were shown to our table and served by a very lovely lady called Diane. She made us feel so welcome and chatted to us about our stay and the local area. Having such attentive staff really makes a difference to the quality of your stay. Such a relaxed vibe. Nothing was too much effort. We also liked the fact that there was a “top-up” station by reception so you could access more little milk pots, tea and coffee for the room. Hotel is tucked away behind The Toby Carvery. I wondered if it would be noisy due to this and the proximity to the road; But it was so quiet! We would definitely return here if we wanted to visit the area again or use it as a base to visit the city centre. Keep up the good work all of you and thank you to all of the staff at South Hall Premier Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
