Jenny is a terrific innkeeper & person! She recommended several places for us to see while we visited and gave us interesting history of the area. Her home is beautiful and Jenny is a great cook, preparing delicious breakfasts and baking lovely treats. Her gardens are filled with herbs & lavender while her backyard has lovely grapefruits, lemons, limes, and along with a neighboring feijoes tree. Jenny is the genuine real deal!

Stayed here in March 2024, on our 3 week trip around New Zealand. Was easily the cleanest place we stayed in on our trip. Jenny is a great host, on arrival prepared afternoon tea for the 4 of us. The breakfast was amazing we had an early start but upon getting up at 7 am we were presented with a fantastic breakfast including fresh fruit salad, muesli, toast, poached eggs, coffe and tea. Way above expectations.

Jenny was lovely, very welcoming and friendly. Lovely room but for the cost I sadly wouldn't stay again for what was available. Room needs A/C as night was to hot and even with window open, coffee and tea in room would be nice as I do like privacy.
