A beautiful place to stay, it exceeded our expectations! wonderful staff, and the food was excellent. will be staying again!

Really enjoyed a two night stay at Royal Victoria hotel ...Even though is going through some updating can not praise the excellent service and catering enough .
Location is excellent for the walks to the summit and lake plus both lake railway and Slate museum.
Food was really good and can recommend highly the Lamb choice .
Rooms are spacious warm and plenty of tea and coffee facilities.
Service was above and beyond .
Looking forward to a revisit !!

The breakfast room conservatory is a highlight. The view over Llanberis with your coffee is well worth waking up early for.

Rooms clean and tidy, good shower. Single room a tad small but did the job.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was OK. The bed was literally the least comfortable bed I have ever (tried but failed) to sleep in. Like a wonky cardboard box full of broken springs. Room was like a sauna despite turning off radiators and opening window. Hardly slept a wink. Felt awful in the morning. If that bed and mattress are less than 20 years old I'll eat my hat.

We stayed in the annex building (the coachhouse). Twin room. Room was clean and tidy with modern bathroom. Beds comfy and breakfast included. A great stay.

Our visit was for a trip on the Snowdon railway, the hotel is conveniently situated almost opposite the train station. The hotel gardens are beautiful, tables and chairs provided for outside drinks, our room was excellent and the food was great. A really enjoyable stay.
