A Wonderful Stay at Villa Sant’Andrea, A Belmond Hotel, Taormina Mare I had a truly wonderful stay at Villa Sant’Andrea. The hotel is incredibly beautiful and unique, with stunning views that made every moment special. My room was very comfortable, and I enjoyed a restful and peaceful sleep throughout my stay. I would like to sincerely thank all the staff who made my experience so memorable—from the team who checked me in to the bellman and doorman who kindly assisted me upon arrival and departure. Your warm hospitality and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. It is no surprise that this hotel is so famous. You have created such a beautiful memory for my vacation, one that I will always cherish. I truly look forward to returning in the future. Thank you to everyone for such an exceptional experience.

While the rooms are a bit dated, the pool and beach facilities make this an absolute gem of a resort! The unspoiled views of Isola Bella by the beach and gorgeous view of Mt Etna at the pool are breathtaking. The restaurant also serves impeccable Sicilian food featuring local favorites like anchovies, swordfish, arancini, and cannolo. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to the town center, but we found it more convenient to call taxi when we wanted to move around.

We just had the most wonderful stay at La Plage. We arrived and were seen immediately and offered a drink whilst we checked in. We were then given a tour of the hotel and some information on the local area. We were shown to our room which was a sea front bungalow with a hot tub. Just gorgeous! We had the most beautiful view of Isola Bella. The next morning we were awake before the birds for an excursion to Etna (for my birthday), before we left someone appeared at the door with a birthday cake and a candle. A really lovely touch. Upon our return the ladies who cleaned the rooms stopped by whilst I enjoyed a glass of wine in the hot tub to say hello and sang me happy birthday too! The service was impeccable from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff are AMAZING and so attentive. The food is delicious. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the people who work there. Thank you everyone in La Plage for making our stay so perfect. We can’t wait to come back

Очередной день рождения я решила отпраздновать в Таормине в именитом отеле Excelsior palace. Отель был построен в 1904 году и соответственно дух истории и старости чувствуется в отеле начиная от холла и заканчивая номерами . Сначала мне дали одноместный номер без балкона, затем по моей просьбе на ресепшене поменяли на номер с балконом, который находился на 0 этаже, сразу возле лобби бара , что было очень удобно . Отапливается отель через общую систему кондиционирования, которая очень гудит, но тепло. Затем через день утром меня разбудил строительный шум , прям за стеной в ванной начали ремонт и работал перфоратор . Я обратилась на ресепшен и меня переселили в номер делюкс (на двоих , более новый на 2 этаже ). Определенный дискомфорт доставил переезд -сбор вещей, снова разложить и тд. И на следующий день выезд , то есть опять собирать вещи. Но номер большой просторный и уже не так быстро греется. Если отключить общий шумный кондиционер , то холодно.Завтрак однообразный яйца, сосиски , сыры, овощи, хлопья, йогурт, орехи, сорбет, выпечка. На второй день пребывания сломалась кофе машина. Пришлось просить официантов принести несколько раз кофе. Для отеля такого уровня не починить кофе машину - очень странно ! В целом мне понравилась пребывание,однако номерной фонд старый и не стоит своих денег в сезон, оплата просто за имя сети . Вода в номере из минибара платная, халатов нет, с днем рождения не поздравили никак вообще . Налог 4 евро/сутки. Хорошо пахнет в коридоре на 0 этаже, не понравилось, что надо на завтраке просить принести капучино вторую кружку, искать официанта, сами не спрашивают повторно хочу я кофе или нет , как одолжение делают .

Overlooking the Ionian Sea, the Grand Hotel San Pietro is a beautiful hotel with landscaped gardens and excellent amenities. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable.  Located within a 10-15 minute walk of the shopping and sightseeing area of Taormina, makes this 5 Star hotel an excellent choice.  The staff, as mentioned, are very courteous and helpful - and it is quite easy to become friends with them. Infact, Christian and Loretta (who work in the bar area during the evenings) are 2 staff members that I highly commend - not only for their service but for the exceptional time we spent with them.  This hotel is highly recommended and I certainly look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

Everything was good except for the laundry. We paid 40 euros and our laundry came back still somewhat dirty and not smelling clean. All my white clothes were ruined because they didn't separate. Wasted my money and my clothes. Breakfast was good but repetitive. The service was good, the staff was friendly. The room was cleaned daily and thoroughly. We had a sea view room which was beautiful however it felt so stuffy and humid that it prevented us from sleeping and we were unable to turn on the air conditioning. The walls were so thin that we could hear people outside all night, we could hear the people have breakfast in the morning, and we could hear the opera couple streets over. Location was close enough to the bus and to shops and restaraunts.

Все понравилось. Как-будто побывали в Италии 1980 г., интерьер, кондиционер, и сантехника в ванной. Побывали в другой эпохе, спасибо персоналу за создание атмосферы.

Хороший отель! У меня оказался очень поздний заезд после того, как они закрыли ресепшн. Очень странно! Я выбирала отель с ресепшн 24/7! Они оставили мне записку с подробной инструкцией на двери отеля. В ней говорилось, что ключи от комнаты я найду в двери, а их там не было!!! Мой сонный мозг смог додуматься только для того, чтобы спуститься на пустой ресепшн и забрать ключи оттуда. При check-out вопросов не было.

Not possible that this is a 4 star The staff were very nice, and generally the hotel was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was really good and staff helpful. But the condition of our room was not suitable, there was no bathroom ventilation and there was black mould throughout the room. We arrived on a day with bad storms and power cuts so just went to bed and left it when we arrived, but we stayed 3 nights and it got worse and worse throughout, we couldn't believe that anyone was letting people stay in the room so we kind of assumed all the rooms were the same and it was jsut a problem with the hotel being older, plus the mould was so obvious there is no way this wouldn't have been noticed by the hotel. There was a strong smell of bleach when we arrived, so its obviously a known problem, but I dont think they should then be putting people in that room. I mentioned this when checking out and offered to show photos, but the lady on reception said she would send someone to go look (there was mould on numerous walls, and if it smelt of bleach on arrival I assume they know this if cleaning every day so dont see why they let people stay in the room anyway?) The access to sun loungers/ reduced rate beach which is mentioned at booking isn't explained, it is a 45 minute walk each way and you still have to pay for the sunbeds. The bus leaves the hotel once a day but again this wasn't explained, so we just went to the beaches and took our towels down on the people's for free rather than hiring sunbeds a long way away. Some things in the hotel were really good, staff, terrace area, breakfast but the room condition is not suitable and I wouldn't recommend, there are a few 4 star hotels in the area so I'd suggest an alternative, though other 0eolle around the hotel seemed fine with their room so maybe we just had a bad one? But then if there is a bad room with mould I dont think they should be providing that to people and charging full price.

1박에 200 유로 낸 거 치고는 소박한 호텔.. 성수기니 별 수 없죠! 삼성급이라 짐 들어주는 거 다른 분께 부탁해야 했어요. 근데 뷰가 바닷가 뷰라 넘 좋았음! 조식도 넘 멋진 뷰였고 맛있어서 행복했어여! Carmen의 서비스도 넘 좋았구여! 오너인 줄 ㅎㅎ 근데 아페롤 스피리츠 한 잔에 8유로였어요! 단점이라면 케이블카까지 10분정도 걸어야 했어요.. 주변에 레스토랑도 별로 없었지만 그래도 잘 쉬다 왔어요! 올린 사진은 아침 먹는 장소 테라스에서 음식 배달해 먹은 사진 ㅋㅋ
