The lobby is nice, very spacious and plenty of seats while waiting check in. But the check in time is after 3pm which is a bit late compared with our hotels at 2pm. We booked on the day so it was a bit last minute. The booked the standard room on the lower ground. When we entered the room it was very smelly, feels like humid and mouldy. Because it was lower ground which is like basement so there is no windows and also there are no fans in the bathroom, ventilation is not good for that type of room. If you stay more than 1 night, it’s better to book the higher level room which has windows or balcony. There is wear and tear which is fine but they need deep cleaning regularly to maintain the room to high standard to match the 5 star rating. You can see the dirty marks on the tiles and dust around TV table areas. Not sure if they do vacuum regularly. The bedding quilt and sheet are humid, not sure if it is because of the poor ventilation or they haven’t dried them completely in the dryer. The bad smell which they can probably add some diffuser or room spray to make it smell pleasantly. There is room to improve the cleanliness for sure. The breakfast is nice, many choices but you need to wait a bit to be seated. There is free shuttle bus to Bali collection which is nice. The amenities are nice there are beach club, swimming pools and heaps of kids activities. Will be better suit for families for holidays. The location is ok in Nida dua, no traffic jam heading to airport on 31 Dec, cheaper to call bluebird taxi to travel around.
