Lay Day Surf Hostel

The stay at Lay Day was great! The hostel was very clean and the staff was incredibly nice! Lay Day has a great a**osphere and made me feel at home straight away. It is the perfect place to meet new people. Overall I had a very nice experience!!!!

The place was great! Very clean and the staff was super nice! They did an awesome job and made me feel right at home. The private rooms were great cuz they were close to the main stay area where people were hanging out. It was a great place to meet people as well! Super fun!

I am a solo traveler and I really hoped to meet new people during my dream holiday in Bali! I booked a private room in one if the villas the hostel has. The room was just perfect: cute, simple, clean. Hot water was always there, ac was working perfectly and the a**osphere in the villas was quiet and relaxing. But what made everything special was all the staff and the other guests in this hostel! Since I checked in I felt warmly welcomed! I remember, there was Gigi at the reception!:) Everytime I was coming back to the hostel and I was stopping by the bar, the staff was always ready to engage nice and fun conversations and made sure everyone was having a good time! I met so many new people in this hostel and at no stages I felt alone or bored! I had so much fun and every day I was looking forward to coming back to the hostel, get ready and meet everyone at the bar! The a**osphere was simply amazing, friendly, fun! I am definitely coming back next time I will be in Bali! So, solo travelers or not, just book your stay here and let the fun begin! You are going to love it and you will create so many beautiful memories! Thanks again Lay Day for the amazing vibes

At check-in I already noticed the good vibe and that became even better at night. Loved this place! Met some amazing people and had a fun time in Canggu. The staff are so nice and know how to party! Oh and very good location within 5 minutes from the beach and center. Can't wait to go back here ;)

Don’t stay here. It’s like scum from the sewer. Somebody touched me when I was sleeping and ran off when I woke up. Staff thought this was funny and did nothing. I was told police couldn’t do anything either. Super noisy until late as people are screaming until 4 am. So super hard sleep whatsoever (besides risking getting harassed). Disgusting beds and even more gross shower. Doesn’t get any worse than this place worldwide.

Best hostel experience ever. The staff are super friendly and welcoming and so much fun. Jim was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better host! The pub crawl hosted by Lay Day staff was one of the best nights along with the pool party. If you’re keen for a good time definitely recommend Lay Day.

Our stay here was so lovely! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which created an awesome environment. We felt very safe and staff were helpful when we needed it! Bonus shout out to Jim who was the absolute life of the party and made our hostel stay even better!

Great craic! Fun Pub crawl we were taken by bus from bar to bar and given a T-shirt , sociable hostel. Rooms were clean and air con was good. There’s 3 pools! Wish we had a pool table though. The staff are so welcoming and fun especially Erick. I will be back ❤️
