My family and I had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn St. Pete's beach this past August. We arrived just after Hurricane Debby, but the hotel grounds were completely cleaned up. The staff is very friendly, and the pool area, the pool bar/restaurant are great. We had a great room with ocean view, which was a nice perk. The beaches are also gorgeous with hotel cabana's free of charge with the room, and the beaches are wonderful. It feels really Caribbean with the white sands. On our last day, I lost my hat by the pool area, and I want to specifically mention the friendly staff, especially Cassandra, who tried to track down my hat for me, and when not possible, took a lot of trouble to find a similar one and send to me. To be honest, this has never happened to be that any staff took so much trouble to help find and replace a lost item, and it really surprised me, showing how the hotel takes 'service excellence' to the next level. Thank you, Cassandra!
Having been displaced from our flooded home in the City of St. Pete Beach it was extremely challenging for us for several weeks after Hurricane Helene and Milton finding lodging for not just my husband and myself but for our 2 dogs as well. I was so fortunate to finally make contact with Emma who is the general manager, she was so gracious and helped me book my stay, I started out booking 5 weeks and have recently extended our stay until mid-December. The Beach Suite we are staying in has been totally remodeled with all the new trends, the king size bed is so comfortable, we have 2 smart TV's, the wireless internet is fast and secure, This is a perfect home away from home for us. I must say Amanda is the manager on site, she is so caring and genuinely such a sweetheart, along with Laurie who really took care of my needs and was extremely timely in getting back to me. They have both made us feel so welcome. The grounds are very well kept, with 2 beautiful pool areas that are extremely welcoming, I have noticed this boutique resort has an incredible client base, the guests that we have met here are very nice young couples and the families are so adorable. I will most definitely be booking at St. Pete Beach Suites when our sons and their wives or our friends come to visit us in the future. This location is very short walking distance to Upham beach and its white sands, Paradise Grill, Rick's Reef, Twistee ice cream, Giuseppes pizza, and a few blocks farther are Oyster Shuckers, Buoys, and Corey Avenue. It was a miracle this place had no flood damage and I feel it was spared so we could lodge here while we rebuild.
Logan at check-in of the Rum Fish was the BEST!!! I had another front desk clerk tell me that my room was not ready and he would not be able to provide me with a room next to my co-worker. We drove there together to attend a business conference. While assisting my co-worker with her check-in, Logan overheard my interaction with the other desk clerk and requested that I come over so he could take a second look. Not only was he able to immediately provide me with my room, but he also provided me with a room right next door to my co-worker and they were ocean view too! Logan provided great customer service and was very professional. I appreciated him going the extra mile to provide me with top quality service!
Unfortunately we visited just after hurricane Milton so the outside of the building had been damaged and construction work was happening during the day with drilling and banging. We could accommodate this due to the devastation caused by the storm. The pool and hot tub were closed which we weren’t told about before we arrived. The suite was clean, recently renovated and had lots of room. The beds were super comfortable with clean, soft sheets and the bathroom was clean. We had a corner suite which is a bigger room but a very small balcony but enough room for two people to sit on. The pool bar was serving when we were here and the staff were super friendly. The beach access is directly by the pool and you’re straight on to the soft white sand. We collected amazing shells here. Other beaches access by car were closed due to the storm repairs going on up the coast but we could have walked up and down the beach both ways. Some great places to eat around, Crabby Bill’s and the Wharf being two good ones. Not a 5* resort like the Don CeSar hotel but a nice spot if you need the extra room. Would book again.
Wonderful staff, great experience. Lovely rooms and amenities! Very clean. Full sized refrigerator was great! Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans for cooking as well as dishes and glasses. Happy hour every day with free beer and wine. We will definitely return! Alexis was amazing!
