"It was an enjoyable trip overall. The only two issues I had was 1. My unit with the jacuzzi had some wear, seems like there was a leak because there’s sealant on all corners throughout the room. 2. The couples massage was nice!! I asked for tension/deep tissue but didn’t get that. It was a bit light and skipped front upper body area."

"Aldea 19 is one of my favorite places to enjoy the Bacalar Lagoon. The entrance to the lagoon is one of the most beautiful and comfortable I've encountered. The service they offer, both in lodging and food, is first-class. You'll be lucky to meet the owners and chat with them, as they are entirely attentive to their guests. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They have a sailboat ride that leaves directly from the pier and is totally worth it! There's always room for improvement, but you're doing an incredible job. I'll be back to check it out again! Thank you for everything! This is my second time bringing a group of over 10 people to Aldea 19, and they've exceeded my expectations both times. "stayed here for 2 nights. very helpful ladies that owns it. They helped booked our tour on the lake. Clean rooms ond good breakfast. you can choose different every day. nice little pateo in the middle where have your breakfast. a little walk downtown but we found very nice restaurants just around the corner. Absolutly recommend to stay here."

"Beware - Poor/Shady Customer Service: When looking for lodging, I do two things. I look at the low reviews and check out their cancellation policies. With Casa Arabe, you'll notice that their rooms are outdated and somewhat dirty. Also, tours come here all the time, so as a guest, you'll be sharing your peaceful stay with a bunch of people coming in and out for the day. As for their cancellation policy, they are refusing to refund me, even though I cancelled well within the 2 days prior window. See a screenshot of my interaction with staff. Casa Arabe, for $43 USD, is it really worth this poor customer service?"
