Syntagma Apartments by Olala Homes

Our stay started well, but quickly turned into a nigh**are. Initially, we encountered a minor inconvenience with the smart lock system, which required online check-in and document uploads. This information should be in the property description. The apar**ent was clean, well-equipped, and had a good location, with nice complimentary drinks. However, on the second day, we returned to find our luggage tampered with, bedding removed, and drawers open. Another family was robbed on the same day. While we didn't lose valuables, it left us feeling unsafe and wasted a day reporting to the police. The issue isn't isolated; similar incidents are in reviews. Olala's security system seems flawed. Their customer support was unhelpful, and the local representative didn't contact us. No compensation was offered. They blame guests for not locking doors, but their guest manual contradicts this. Are they giving false information deliberately? They claim police caught the thieves, but how did they enter, with corridor camera recordings? Why more incidents if thieves were caught?

Great location and good not to have keys with having pin locks. Apar**ent very clean and easy to relax. Very good sleep. Only criticism I would have are cooking utensils are very basic but I’d definitely stay again in one of the apar**ents

Had the worst possible experience while staying at Olala. We were out from the apar**ent in the afternoon, and once we got back we saw everything in a big mess, someone entered the apar**ent (must have known the code because door is not damaged) and tried to rob us. We reported it to the police and when they came we found out apar**ent above was also robbed. If you care about your safety and your belongings, NEVER stay here!!!

The check in process and communication with the host / property management was too complicated and slow. It was too annoyed trying to communicate with them and feeling that you are trying to communicate with a robot !!

Great apar**ent (apt 6 ) with incredible views from the roof terrace. Can walk to anywhere in the centre of Athens really easily and loads of cafes/bars in the neighbourhood. Key code access is fab

2 ppl entered my room from the management while I was sleeping!! Iy scared me & I was shivering! I want A FULL refund for this horrible experience & the fact that it happened from there site! The room is horrible too there is NO day light & the fridge is leaking that is why they entered they ruined my vacation I was so scared!

The location was excellent and Amenities was very good but sadly the one thing wrong with this place and some would consider it important is the fact that they allow street concerts to take place right outside on the street outside the building. This could be any night of the week and it goes on till very late and the music is like it's in your room. If you're a young person who wants to enjoy the concert it's all good but if you want to sleep at night this is a problem.

Great location. Wonderful communication from the beginning to the end. I would stay egain there for sure!

Overall excellent, we were comfortable,clean, best spot to catch a bus going to Athens airport right in syntagma.
