Petherton Cottage Studios

Didn’t want to stay in a commercial chain hotel when visiting friends in the new forest so we choose Petherton Cottage and we are so pleased we did! The rooms have been refurbished since we last stayed a few years ago and they are just amazing! Such a high standard and everything you need! Very modern and the comfiest of beds! Kitchen was well equipped for you to be able to cook and the hosts are always so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble! Easy check in with lock box keys and the views of nature/forest all around took us away from the hustle of living in London. Very easy to get to Bournemouth and we loved all the walks and forest areas right on your doorstep! We love to support small businesses and will definitely be back when we’re in the area! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The property is located in a secluded location with short drive from local amenities. We really liked the surroundings and it was easy to check-in. Would definitely stay at the place again and recommend to anyone looking for something different other than a typical stay at a hotel.

Lovely location, the rooms were beautifully furnished with all you need. Fresh milk for your cuppa tea too! The shower was powerful & very handy to have a kitchen area. Lots of parking & very accommodating hosts. Highly recommend to couples, families or solo travellers

A lovely stay at Petherton Cottage. It was immaculate and a perfect size for a small family. Great location with lots of things to do nearby!

Lovely accommodation, clear entry instructions and everything we needed as a family really! Only drawback was the busy road outside.

Love the set up of the room and the breakfast hampers are genius no need to have to be upat a certain time. Great concept. Mattresses could probably do with updating as not the comfiest and certainly done its service to varuous weights and shapes.

We loved our stay here, we had two nights and at night it was lovely and quiet. The apar**ent was very clean and had everything we needed, the beds were lovely and comfortable. Also had a big Panasonic TV with apps like youtube which was better then what most hotels have. The highlight was "Dolly" the meet and greet staff member ( Cat, see photo`s ) who led us to our place and saw that we were comfortable. She also came to say goodbye when we left. One of the most beautiful cats I have ever met. Also if you do stay here, please be careful driving in and out because she waits in the car park area. Thank you Dolly and everyone else at Petherton Cottage.
