The room was clean. No elevator with the only working ice machine on the top floor and breakfast served on the bottom floor. Parking lot it extremely tiny with very little light.

I stayed at the Econo lounge over the New Year’s weekend, and I discovered a spider on my bed. I took pictures with the spider and the killer spider and I showed it to one of the front desk personnel she told me the spider comes from outside she did not offer me in next room or an apology, or any such thing also they serve breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30 but when I went down for breakfast at 7:00 am there was no breakfast and this is not the first time it happen several times The staff have to keep up with consistency at all times.

Outstanding staff, mid-range amenities, very good breakfast, limited parking, and heavily-trafficked roads. Older but good property. Next to Highway and close to major metro station.

The Econo Lodge Metro is a short walk away from the East Falls Church metro station and there's no charge to park in the hotel lot if you're staying there, which makes this super convenient and affordable for a DC trip. Everything in the room and throughout the hotel was clean and maintained. While it's not the fanciest, it's comfortable and has coffee, hot water, and tea available at all times, fridge and microwave in the room (in the room I stayed in); free (though pretty basic) breakfast that was sufficient. (Note -- if you're vegan you'll likely need to get breakfast elsewhere.) The staff are kind and responsive. Overall, I was pleased and plan to stay here again on future DC trips.
