Beautiful hotel in a very scenic location. The facilities are excellent and so was the breakfast. Very friendly staff as well.

Lovely boutique hotel with the best pool area in the whole island. Had a fabulous stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary and as it was end of the season it was not too busy and got an upgrade to gorgeous sea view room 🤩 Staff was very friendly and helpful all the way through. Breakfast was small but nice, pool bar served good quality food for lunch and dinner 😋 Loved the friendly cat’s and dogs wondering around so great bonus for pet lovers. Will be returning when new season starts. 5*

Beautiful hotel and really nice staff. Food very good and everywhere is kept to a very high standard. Rooms, pool furniture and the surrounding grounds are immaculate. BUT the music being played constantly around the pool / restaurant and bar areas is endlessly annoying with no quiet time at all like most hotels have. A good number of he sunbeds surrounding two of the beautiful pools seem to have speakers either very close or behind them so make them unusable which is a great pity as they have good shade from the trees. I hope the management do something about this as it spoils what would be an excellent experience.

We had a lovely stay at Thalassa. We stayed in one of the swim up rooms 1 week from 29th September. We had room 303. We obviously went at the end of the season and found we didn’t get sun on our sunbed at the room until around 15:00 PM. This wasn’t a problem for us as we spent most days discovering the beautiful island. There are 2 buildings with swim up rooms and it looked like the other had the sun most of the day. The main pool was really peaceful with plenty of beds, different styles to choose from with plenty of parasols and felt much more luxurious than the usual beds at hotels. No issues getting a bed no matter what time of day and no putting towels down required. The room was really nicely decorated, open plan themed bathroom. Only improvement I could suggest is that the mirrors are too high to sit at the dressing table so I had to stand and would appreciate some brighter lights for doing makeup! There is a hairdryer in the rooms, probably best I’ve had at a hotel. Plenty of wardrobe space and drawers. A fridge with free bottles of water provided and a nespresso machine and coffee and creamers topped up each day. There’s a kettle and teabags also. The staff are really friendly and helpful and reception will happily organise any trips, taxis, car hire etc for you but obviously this may not be the cheapest way to do it. One example of how attentive they are was that we ran out of creamer for coffee and asked at reception if we could have a couple more. They got some and took our room number…next day we were left a full bag of them with more coffee pods! The rooms are cleaned every day. The breakfasts were nice, a bit repetitive but decent choice. The main restaurant is by the pool and serves lunch and dinner. The food is delicious! Definitely recommend the moussaka. There’s a bar that has a beautiful view of the sea. There is building work out the front. I didn’t hear any noise and looks like it won’t spoil the view when complete as it’s lower down. The track up to Lassi itself is about 5/10 minute walk. It’s a bit rough round the edges but maybe will be smartened up once the new hotel is complete. Lassi has some nice traditional Greek restaurants. Argostoli is about 8 minutes in a car and 40 minute walk. There’s a bus stop I. Lassi and costa about 2€ to get to Argostoli, or a taxi is 8€. Plenty of good restaurants and shops in Argostoli so definitely worth a visit even if you prefer a relaxing time and not wanting to venture far. You can also catch the sea turtles on a morning. I believe between 8:00-12:00 is the best time when the fishing boats come in. They can be found to the right of the I love Kefalonia sign. Look for crowds or seagulls, normally a good sign. We hired a car for 3 days from Lassi. We got a Fiat 500 cabriolet which cost 250€ (much cheaper if you book this before you travel and use a bigger company near the airport). My husband and I work very long hours in the UK, so to come to Kefalonia and stay at this hotel was an absolute dream. Everything was perfect…from check in, using the amenities, enjoying the cocktail lounge and pool side restaurants, asking for little extras such as clean pool towels or milk for tea was never an issue and alway done with a smile and with ease. We enjoyed a few lunches and a dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed all the meals very much. A cheeky frozen daiquiri by the pool was a daily treat to cool down and all drinks and food can be put to your room for a final bill when you check out. Breakfast was a daily treat with a wide selection to choose from plus the most incredible views over the bay. Staff were very attentive and would get a different drink for us if what we fancied wasn’t on the self service. Location wise, we felt was in a prime spot but also extremely peaceful (no issues from current building work at all). We visited Lassi some evenings by walking around 10 minutes (take a torch for walk back) and other evenings we went into Argostolli (8€ by taxi each way). Our room was 617 with sea views. We loved the room with its large bed and the shower was great after a long day at pool/beach. We had a fridge, kettle, Nespresso machine, hairdryer, safe, robes, slippers, daily change of towels, Airer with pegs, TV, large wardrobe and mini toiletries. All in all we have returned from what has been the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. We will most certainly be returning and we are already planning when. Amazing location and staff. The pool was stunning and 5 minutes walk to a gorgeous beach. I’ve travelled alot and this was a truly tranquil and gorgeous boutique hotel. The room (junior ocean view suite) was stunning.

Beautiful chic hotel. Very quiet pool area with lovely clean comfortable sun beds which were always available anytime of the day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with great views over the med sea. Loads of choices to suit all tastes. You have an option to sit and eat inside if you’re put off by the bees, which can be a bit annoying. Our room was clean and new towels were given every day. We booked a sea view, which we were given…..however it was over a building site where work was taking place. It did not bother us as we spent most of the time at the local beaches, which were a ten minute walk from the hotel. I would return this hotel as it ticks all the boxes for couples who want a relaxing stay. This was our first visit to Kefalonia, we will be back to this beautiful peaceful island again

We have visited Thalassa Boutique Hotel on four occasions and it just gets better and better. The new rooms are beautifully presented and the revised pool area is wonderful. The staff are superb. Nothing is too much trouble and this all stems from the culture that Angela and her management team have instilled. We have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and giving it a five star review!!

An oasis of calm overlooking the most beautiful bay. Close to several beaches. 10 minute walk to the bar/restaurant area. Staff friendly and very helpful Good selection of local dishes for breakfast Rooms spacious, light and airy. Superb!
