Standing on the former site of the Sweelinck music conservatory. Opened in December 2011 the Conservatorium has been designed for a new generation of travelers who expect a hotel to not only offer immaculate contemporary design exceptional service and exemplary facilities but also to provide them with an entree to the social and cultural life of a destination.
With eight floors and 129 rooms and suites guests can choose accommodation ranging from a comfortable Duplex Guest Room through to the Penthouse Suite. As an Amsterdam resident and a photographer, I can surely say that it's the best neighbourhood to stay in as it's in Museumplein, next to all the museums you'd wish to visit. Moreover, it's very close to the most picturesque canals and the bridge called Museumbrug. The room and the facilities were just perfect. I stayed in a two-floor suite which had a big sofa, bathroom and working table on the first floor with a cosy interior and a queen-sized bed and a bathtub on the upper floor. It feels so special to open the curtains from the buttons next to your bed and get the first light of the day. The hotel team thought up every little detail in the room that makes your stay very luxurious and unique. I also received a relaxing massage treatment in Akasha SPA where they have all the facilities like a gym, yoga studio, pool, jacuzzi, hammam and massage rooms. To sum up, it was a wonderful stay arranged by Emily Sang from Conservatorium Hotel's marketing team. If you visit Amsterdam and want a luxury treatment, do not miss out on the Conservatorium Hotel, you'll not regret it!

My husband and I recently stayed at The Conservatorium and had a fabulous stay. All of the staff from the doormen, to the front desk, to the concerige and restraint staff were excellent and super friendly, without being overbearing. Our room was stunning, very spacious and finished to a very high standard. I highly recommend experiencing both the breakfast, which is delicious, as well as Taiko for dinner, which was fantastic!

From the moment I checked in, I felt genuinely cared for and pampered. The Conservatorium Hotel is extremely stylish and chic, offering an elegant atmosphere that made my stay unforgettable. I was in Amsterdam to celebrate my birthday, and the thoughtful birthday surprises, including a lovely bottle of champagne, wine and delightful sweets, truly made my day special. The staff were not only polite but also exceptionally helpful, going above and beyond. The rooftop suite was amazing, spacious, with a stunning view and a well-thought-out layout. The room's Bluetooth surround system added a fantastic touch, enhancing my overall experience. Thank you to the entire hotel staff for making my stay extraordinarily special.

Fabulous, stunning and very well located. My wife and I were very impressed by the common areas and the rooms. The service was all around excellent, including the reception desk personnel and concierge. The breakfast buffet was lovely. This hotel is well deserving of a five star rating.
