It is not good... Invasion of privacy and lost my shoe covers.
I booked a room on 27-10 at Mercure on and my friend booked for next day. When we checked in at the first day, we informed the circumstance to the reception. She clearly said that it could be the same room for 2 nights, hence we have no need to check in again and change a room after one night stay. However, we found our room in a mess when we came back at 28th night.
Our personal bags are opened and filled with stuff that we put outside the bag, which is, without Our permit!!
They opened Our bags full of our private stuff even without telling us!!!
My friend's teethbrush and slippers are put together, face to face.
What's more, I found my rainy day shoes cover missing. I called the reception on 28-10 and she told me that she would inform me next day morning.
But When we checked out there is still no information. And the girls at the reception has changed so I had to explained the whole thing once again.
They asked for my email address and said that they would send email to me as I need to leave.
But, until now, there is none in my mailbox.

Check In lief problemlos ab. Zimmer war sehr groß und sauber. Parkplatz war günstig und befindet sich direkt in der Tiefgarage (Zugang zum Hotel). Die Lage war super! Direkte Einkaufsmöglichkeit, 10 Minuten zu Fuß war Hauptbahnhof/Innenstadt erreichbar.

Perfect location, but no restaurant or bar opened during the day at the weekend. Staff could have been more helpful for first time visitors to the city looking for tips.

Good central location. Not much of a lobby to relax but otherwise no issues. Parking available at €8.5 per day per entry.

Friendly staff. Room clean. One of the Lifts was broken so waiting time was excessive.
Breakfast was poor- I emailed hotel prior to arrival to advise of being a coeliac other than gluten free bread, nothing else for €20 !!!!

Everything after check in was wonderful at this hotel. The check in was awful. We had booked 2 rooms, but only 1 showed up on their computer. I showed them my confirmation email with both rooms paid for, but the first person still kept insisting she couldn't find it on the computer. After a long time a second person came over and got our rooms sorted out, but it was very frustrating.
