We were the only two families at the hotel so it was very quiet and relaxing. Food was delicious and the staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and tidy. Two complaints: 1. On arrival, we had small kids that were hungry and we were told that the kitchen was closed. No effort was even made to give us any suggestions for getting something to eat considering that we were not anywhere near a Spar/PnP/etc. 2.The swimming pool was quite a distance from the restaurant and bar and there was no waiters at the pool to assist us if we needed anything. It was very irritating that we had to walk that distance if we wanted anything to eat and drink.

· We were late checking in as we had been driving for 10 hours. The staff communicated with us over Whatsapp and kept the reception open and then kept plates of delicious hot food for us, they even kept the bar open. The manager welcomed us and made us very welcome even though we had kept everyone up so late. Exceptional service. The rooms were clean and good and the area is beautiful.

Very friendly staff and manager. Neat and clean room with spotless (recently refurbished) bathroom. Exterior (front door and outside wooden couch) still needs to be repaired and refurbished - apparently in process. Very good quality linen and very comfortable bed/mattress. Simple, but good and tasty food (we only had dinner - left early for golf and, therefore, did not go to breakfast). Large, clean, and well maintained pool, lapa, and surroundings. Tennis court still to be repaired. Stunning location (hotel and golf course) with a wonderful golf course (well maintained with good quality greens). Highly recommended, but... unfortunately not great for people with moderate to severe arthritis - lots of steps to negotiate to and between rooms and facilities.

We were there for 2 nights. Lovely and clean place, but food service need to be looked at. When we checked in we were told dinner will be at 6.30. The first night the food only arrived at 8. With 2 children very hungry. It was also too little food, a portion of noodles that my child finishes (who barely finish a plate). Second night was the same story, curry was so hot and spicy, myself and children could not eat it. Breakfast on first day was good, but second day there were no hot milk for the cereals and no spoons to dish up the joghurt and fruit. Really a lovey place, but with food service being so poor, we will not be going back. As we travel with small children, time is of essence when serving dinner, they cant wait for hours when they are hungry. It was not even that busy, so cant understand why it took so long for food to arrive. First night we were 15 people, second night only 10 people.

Don't let the drive through the Bush and gravel roads fool you! A lush escape to nature's paradise awaits you. An aged but Cute hotel in an absolutely gorgeous setting. The gardens are beautiful. Perfect for families with kids, plenty to do in a safe environment (tennis court, soccer/sports patch, lawn bowling, 2 amazing sparkling pools!) The food is homely, and very delicious. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Enjoy a few hiking trials accessed from the hotel or go for a long walk in the golf estate, truly breathtaking. Would definitely recommend!

From arrival to departure the staff treated us with friendliness and hospitality. The setting breathes tranquility and peace. Beautifull gardens. The resort is on its way to regain their splendor after lockdown.

lovely setting, friendly people, could be on the Calander quarterly, sadly the resort needs a lot of work. Upgrade, warm room, clean carpets, shower curtains - who has that. fireplaces should work. lounge furniture? screams potential but needs serious work.

Major improvement to the gardens and facilities. The staff are professional and friendly. It really is a pitty that it's become so quiet in terms of number of guests. It's a sign of a struggling economy I guess... Maybe it's time to consider dropping the rates, convince local entertainers to come over and draw in the numbers. Put the place back on the map...
